Title: Glow Stitch

This will create a glowing stitch effect. It looks very nice in banners.
1. Start a new image. I made my image 640x480.
2. With black as the foreground, white as the background, go to Filter > Render > Clouds.
3. Filter > Brush Strokes > Crosshatch ( Stroke Length - 41, Sharpness - 13, Strength - 3 ).
4. Filter > Brush Strokes > Ink Outlines (Stroke Length - 38, Dark Intensity - 50, White Intensity - 23 ).
5. Filter > Sketch > Water Paper ( Fibers - 15, Brightness - 60, Contrast - 45 ).
6. Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation.
7. Duplicate that layer and set the blending mode to overlay.
Voila, you're done! The cropped image is in the attachments.

Even PSP wouldn't help you...this is in Photoshop. Don't worry, I'm in the same boat.
