What is Quake?

Wow! you are the first person I've met that doesn't know what Quake is. No worries though ^_^ Quake is am FPS mainly for PC by id software. There is a story, but it really sucks, so the best part about the game is the online mode.

You can download different models and skins for your character and join a room of people that are trying to kill everyone.

There are a lot of weapons that range from the Blaster to the BFG10K. There are a set of levels that come with the game that can be played online, but the best ones are the ones people make themselves.

There are different modes of online play, too. Capture the Flag, Deathmatch, Lithium, and some others.

If you have anymore questions just ask.

That is alot like Jedi Outcast. Someone there told me about a site called Quake that contained all the console commands. Keep getting 404's when tryign to go there though.

Well if I remember correctly, Jedi Outcast was developed by Ravensoft, who are working with Activision. As it turns out, Activision produces Quake, so that would explain something. I believe the site in question is Planet Quake which can be reached here.

What kind of game is this?

Cone Potter - November 20, 2003 01:41 AM (GMT)
I think it's kinda like Cobbinator's online game Genesis 3D.

the_cobbinator - November 23, 2003 01:24 AM (GMT)
Genesis 3d isn't an online game. It's a Game Engine. Find the details here www.genesis3d.com

Heh, that kinda sounded like in Star Wars when Obi Wan is like "That's no moon, that's a space station"

Yeah. You're right.
