Title: My Problem...

Here's the problem:

I have a Pentium 166mhz with a 16mb graphics card. All of these awesome games are coming out and the best I can do is Quake II. The only thing I consider good about our computer is that we have DSL, so surfing the net is quick.

None taken.

Well it was just kind of a complaint and a problem. I was complaining that my computer sucks because it only clocks at 166mhz and barely plays Quake II. My problem is that there are a bunch of great games coming out for the PC that I cannot play due to this crappiness. Also, on a side note, I said that the only good thing on our computer was DSL.

What I'd do is see if you can get a better computer with DSL at a cheap price.

Yeah, I've been looking in the Classifieds, and have been going to the local computer shop. Thanks for the advice.

DSL is not the answer. What you need is an upgrade. Pentium 4 processor will help a lot! Trust me. You'll also need more MB Ram.

Well, DSL is kind of like my temporary solution. But yeah, I could go for 2.8 Gigs with 512 ram.

Take my advice and try to get a Pentium 4. Most games will only run on that. Well, if you want them to run well.

Cox Internet is a fairly good price.

I have blue trees and fuzzy objects at distants, but I still get headshots in my games. So I guess I'm just across the line in crappiness of graphics cards...

Why are you dragging up topics that are nearly a year old?
