Fire the "laser beam". :ph43r:
Anyway, enough silliness, is this place going to finally return to activeness? Or is it going the way of the dodo?

I have seen this place fall and rise again. I have seen it in its worse times and its best. Creator had something going, but hell if he kept it that way. The problem I have seen with this forum is in its ability to harness the power to be unique. No offense to whoever is in charge nowadays (where the hell is Creator anyways), but from past experiences and forums, the ones that always suceed are the ones with a particular interest or way of doing things let alone have a website to be the backbone of the forums. Take into account one of the very first forums I ever attended and was actually where I met some great people, one being Creator. While I cant remember the exact name, it was an RCT site and it was one of the best out there. We had a pretty good amount of members, exclusive content and even though we had our fair share of problems, it was one of the most active RCT forums in its time. Nowadays, you just dont get the same feel when you go to other ones.
If you really want to make people come, you are either going to have to make a site that is worth the while or bring something new to these forums.
No generic rehashes, no ususal subforums, no stereotypical themes, etc.

Rephrase to any URL that it is feasibly possible to remember without spending hours studying it. :P

Hahaha. Hey, if someone is willing to throw together a site for us, that would be awesome. But as far as a new url, that would mean a new domain, meaning most likely paying for it. And I don't know about the other admins, but I can't afford that.

A totally different site? On Invisionfree? I'll do it I guess.
pinchy - December 21, 2004 11:18 AM (GMT)
It would be nice if the forum could stay where it and still have an easy URL.
Moving would be a pain but I remember back when I had club pinch the URL was www.forumsforfree.net/clubpinch (or something really similar), there are free and easy to remember forums out there, just having to start from scratch would probably not happen with the lack of activity at the moment.

namecheap.com does domain names for 8.99/year. I know several weel known sites who just use it (GtPlanet, to name one).
Curveball - January 9, 2005 07:51 PM (GMT)
Anyone willing to pay $4.98 per year for ngforums.com?
