Long time no see people. I come back to you peeps to see what you think about RCT3. The demo was released about a little over a month ago, and the game is to be released tomorrow although I already have mine. And I must say, I have mixed feelings for this game. While I got to play the demo, albeit not looking the best on my Dimension 2400 (I have to use Intel's Extreme Graphics 2 :umm: ), it worked nontheless and the actual in game play was pretty good. It took some time getting used to, but it defitnely kept that RCT game play that I remember from the first (never played #2). On the other hand, I was sort of dissapointed in that if you dont have a high end computer, the game doesnt look the greatest let alone it takes a heck long time to load. I have always believed that RCT was a family game for family computers, but this game requires a decent comp to get the full experience.
Fast forward to the full game. It comes in, I plop it in to play it, and the game wont even load! Yep, thats right. The demo supported my computer, but the full game did not. Whats up with that? Above that, I have been frequenting the boards over at Atari, and from what I have heard, this game is chock full of bugs and glitches. How are you suppose to release a game with that many problems?
I dont know what to do. At the current time, I am looking for the best PCI card I can get (wish I had a AGP slot), and I am afraid that wont even do the trick for the game. I really wished that Chris Sawyer had more say than he did in the actual final stages of development. While the game looks nice (on a good computer), its interior is damaged, not something I would expect from an RCT game.
I love it, I'm beta-testing Soaked! exp, and I'm have fun!
Yeah i really love this game too. I still love the first one and second one but this one is great.:)
