Title: Decay

There are quiet a few tutorials here, so I shall add my two cents into these “Photoshop For Dummies” posts.
This one is called “Decay” or “Urban Decay” (Some of my friends say it’s like looking down onto a city)
Step 1 - Open up a ‘New Image’ in Photoshop (whatever version you have) and make it no smaller then 500 x 500. For colors, I recommended Black as foreground, and White as background
Step 2 - Go To Filter > Render > Difference Clouds. After, press Ctrl + F three more times to redo the effect over again.
Step 3 - Press Ctrl + L on you keyboard. The Levels window should appear. (If not, just go to Image > Adjust > Levels) When it appears, enter the fallowing settings into the ‘Input Levels’ ONLY:
20 - 1.00 - 100. Then, press OK.
Step 4 - Go into Filter > Stylize > Extrude. Enter the fallowing settings:
Type: Blocks
Size: 30
Depth: 30
Level-based
Leave the two boxes below UNCHECKED.
Then, press OK.
Step 5 - Go back to Filter > Stylize > Extrude, and enter these new settings:
Type: Blocks
Size: 2
Depth: 30
Level-based
Check Off ‘Solid Front Faces’ ONLY.
Then, press OK.
Step 6 - Press Ctrl + U on your keyboard. The Hue/Saturation window should appear. (If not, just go to Image > Adjust > Hue/Saturation) When it appears, check off the colorize box. You can make it any Hue you prefer, just make sure that Saturation is at 25.
Step 7 - Go into Layer > Duplicate Layer, and rename it ‘Lines.’ After, select it in the Layers display.
Step 8 - Go into Filter > Stylize > Glowing Edges, and enter the fallowing settings:
Edge Width - 1
Edge Brightness - 20
Smoothness - 1
Then, press OK.
Step 9 - Press Ctrl + I on your keyboard. This should Invert the image’s color. (If not, go into Image > Adjust > Invert)
Step 10 - Go to the Layers display, and change the blending mode from ‘Normal’ to ‘Multiply’
It Should Look Something Like This.

Thank You For Reading, And Have Fun.
