Title: Sutra_sek's Digital Creations
sutra_sek - January 15, 2004 02:31 AM (GMT)
Here I will post my latest creations depending on how I feel. It will be updated as I create my art. Feel free to comment as you feel nessesary.
Here is another one of my new banners...

Its called War.
Heres another I made for an RP character.
scribblesxP - January 15, 2004 11:50 PM (GMT)
War- Grunge art is, in my opinion, an advanced form of art. To use it, is to reveal that you have knowledge in art and prove yourself as an accomplished artist. I have a high respect for grunge. The image blending there is also extraordinary.
RP- Wow, I never knew you had a 'tech' side too. You clearly are an all-around accomplished artist. Good job.
sutra_sek - January 17, 2004 01:09 AM (GMT)
Thank you for your comments...They are well appreciated.
Here is another one I made...

Its called Technology.
I recently was thinking about how the government is always in our mindsWherever we go. I hate it...So I made a banner...
sutra_sek - January 17, 2004 08:22 PM (GMT)
I was pissed off at my parents, so I made a banner...

More, yay!
Technology- It really does give a nice 'technology' feeling. I am listening to 'Beyond the Bounds', right now, it goes well with the image. ^_^.
Propaganda- That background is nice. The worn-out feeling. I could never accomplish that effect. This image also goes to show that text really can pull off a wide variety of effects.
Suicide- Don't comit suicide :(. Nice dark picture. Goes well with the theme. That little message on the left also adds a nice touch to it. It balances the image with the picture inserted on the right.
You seem to be a goth. Am I right? My other assumption is that you are a goth girl. Eh?
I'm just your average Asian kid.
the_cobbinator - January 18, 2004 12:40 AM (GMT)
Wow, sutra_sek, your images really convey a mood. I've only used this smilie once and I think you deserve it: :OOOO . Your propoganda is, in my opinion, your best. Good work!
sutra_sek - January 18, 2004 04:16 AM (GMT)
Scribbles...I wish to remain anonymous about my sex and my religious beleifs for the time being. But I am a 16 year old teenager in which whole life has been changed by the DAMN GOVERNMENT(Social Services).
My parents broke up when I was three and I have not seen my mother since. My father was never there so I roamed the streets at night looking for a quick buck. I did a few odd jobs here and there, and then I got into graffiti. I did that for a couple of years, then after living with my dad for most of my life(Who was never there), got seperated and now recide with my aunt and uncle.
I first got into photoshop around 15 years old. I loved what it could do and always wondered how they would make those cool banners on the web. I started messing around with fonts and such and now look at me.
I love to make banners because they are a way to express my emotions through art. I also draw alot...I will be sure to post some of my art sometime in the future.
Here is the second banner I ever made on photoshop...

Ive came a long way since then.
scribblesxP - January 18, 2004 05:17 AM (GMT)
Oh, sorry for asking. Looks like you have lived a hard life. I hope your aunt and uncle are pretty cool.
Wow, that banner is like fifty times better than my second banner. -.- Marvelous for second time. ^_^
sutra_sek - January 18, 2004 05:32 AM (GMT)
No apologies are needed my freind. Curiosity is a natural human emotion. No one should be critisized or scorned for their natural emotions.
I dont know...Are you sure my second is better than yours? I was just experimenting with different effects and layers. I loved it for my second time. Now I look at it as a reminder of my roots and how far ive came.
sfgadv02 - January 18, 2004 06:16 AM (GMT)
scribblesxP - January 18, 2004 08:03 AM (GMT)
Eh? Lets see if I could find my second image ever...

eh?
My opinion. Your image is MUCH better
Mine is a simple grayscaled image with stupid text on it.
sutra_sek - January 19, 2004 12:36 AM (GMT)
Ahhh. The roots are a good reminder of foundation.
Here is one I made today(1/18/04)...

This is one of the first times I have ever used a single, solitary image in my banner. Please let me know how you feel about it.
I seem to have made another quickie. Tell me what you think...
scribblesxP - January 19, 2004 04:43 AM (GMT)
Wow.
First one- The quality of that image is so crazy -.-. It is so clear, as if you are right there. If that is only one picture then that means that you textured all of the stuff to the left of it by yourself. I think that that is crazy. The image flows.
Second one- Wow, that image really inspires a sense of evil and betrayal. Very nice mood portrayal. Though, that gradient on the communist sign I am not very fond of. But, overall, the image is nice. Good for a quickie.
sutra_sek - January 19, 2004 07:09 AM (GMT)
Appreciations to Scribbles. Thank you for your input.
scribblesxP - January 19, 2004 08:10 AM (GMT)
Wow, I am still in awe of the quality of that picture. Where did you find a picture like that?
sutra_sek - January 19, 2004 07:02 PM (GMT)
I found it on an CG internet community called www.renderosity.com. It is a MASSIVE CG web gallery filled with hundreds of thousands of pics.
*Be sure to get the authors consent before downloading any of their art.

Ive decided to remake one of my original creations called Beauty...

Its an experimental remake...Tell me what you think.
I made this one while listening to Name of the Game by The Crystal Method...
sutra_sek - January 29, 2004 03:15 AM (GMT)
The next banners are something that may not appeal to all, and may disturb some. I have decided to give links instead of pics because of the..Well lets just call them DRASTICALLY CREATIVE.
MurderPlay TimeIf thee banners are too offensive for the site and anyone wants me to take them off, ket me know...Remember, its just art.
the_cobbinator - January 30, 2004 10:13 PM (GMT)
Wow, very impressive. It is obvious that through art, you express yourself in ways that isn't possible through words.
King of the rats - February 3, 2004 07:41 AM (GMT)
K, well, i just stumbled onto this message board tonight and i am realy glad i did...

sutra_sek - February 4, 2004 02:34 AM (GMT)
Wow...I am so glad that someone feels this way about my art...
*Tear runs down cheek. King of the rats...Your complement has given me a great sense of hope and success. I thank you, for the complement in which you have given me shall not be surpassed.
It is a great honor to have my expressive art complemented on so gracefully. I have made yet another banner...

Comment as you wish...
sutra_sek - February 11, 2004 12:49 AM (GMT)
Ive decided to experiment more often with my creations. Here is one in which the experiments are most present...

----Comment as you wish----
King of the rats - February 11, 2004 10:55 PM (GMT)
its not bad... obviously experimental but good none the less, experiments are rarly as good as things were use to but lead to greater things in the end. i do have a question for you... where do you get you source pix?? i know some are 3D but where do you get the rest?? im alwas looking for good source pix but i can never find any...
sutra_sek - February 12, 2004 05:10 AM (GMT)
I go to various Cg art sites where you can get some pics if you ask the artists first. Some of the pics in which I use are copyrighted by the artist and I have his/her written(Typed) consent to use his/her art for my banners.
You may want to try a site called ww.renderosity.com or www.watchfuleye.com. These sites have a wide range of pics to choose from. I mainly uise CG pics in my art because they have a better look than anime or hand-drawn art.
----Make sure you get the artists consent, it is vital to a succesful banner(No one wants to have to go to court :P )---

Very nice works Sutra, most of your works show an angst side which is huge in my books, as well as a dark side that shows not only reality but emotion. Enough of my analyzing, keep up the good work :)
sutra_sek - February 27, 2004 05:43 AM (GMT)
Here is an experimental banner in which I have spent very much time on. This is the firt banner in which I have hand crafted from photoshop. No outside images or effects, just pure PS. It says Amoeba Designs. My future company.
