Title: Ayashi dvds~ any good?

Hi there~ just wanted to kno if anyone saw the ayashi series on tv?? i ordered dvds online..should get them at the end of this week in fact and was just curious on what everyone thought? im really anxious for them to come... :lol:

On TV? Well it never aired on TV in anyplace but Japan, I think. ^_^; But I did see the fansubs.
The DVDs are good, you have the choice of English, or Japanese with subtitles. :D The DVDs also have some extra goodies [textless Cross My Heart. *_* :: dies ::]
The TV series it great, though it cut out a LOT of things from the manga, the anime is good, but if you want to get deeper into the story, or want more AnC-ness, then the manga is a good choice. :B I hope you enjoy the DVDs!

Which DVDs are you going for? The 8 released by Viz-Video, or the other imported ones?
I'm not sure about the imported, but I highly recommend the Viz-Video. They have nice set-ups... I feel they are worth the price. :)

Yeah...The viz releases are great (since thats the one I have)!!! If you got the imported ones, there probably good too!!!! You just have to read the subs, thats all.
Although we did have a topic or something was mentioned that there is a certain imported release that has the names all weird and mixed up. Like Tooya for instance..they call "ten nights" or something. I'm pretty sure we talked about this before you joined us LoveXToya. Aki, Mikage-san, TD, and/or Yuhi should no more about this.

I hope you got the ones by VIZ.
The extras alone are so worth buying this over the imports. Just remember for next time though. I'm the guy to get DVD"S from if you buy U.S. releases. Not sure exactly what you paid for them but I could of got you the whole 8 DVD set for $160.
But anyways your in for one hell of a show. There are just to many good points to pick out plus I don't want to give anything away. But after you watch the series you definately have to read the manga to answer some of those ?n's you'll have at the end of the DVD's

that's what his name means......he was named that because, crap this is the no spoilers board....well blah
...i like the manga better, i must say, but the anime's good too, and i just don't care where i get um from so long as i get um! ^_^

What Yugi meant is they call him "Ten Nights" throughout all the anime instead of Tooya. ^_^;
That translated DVD set also called Ceres, Louise... :blink: It was just all messed up.

I've only seen ANC on the viz DVDs. Like everyone else, I highly recommend them.
Whatever you got, have a blast watching them!!! And post how you feel about them when you're done.

i really hope so! i ve been lookin forward all this week to get them and im nearly screamin with anticipation! :rolleyes:
