I myself usually don't mind which way I watch anime. Infact that's why I love DVD"S because you can watch both and compare the differences. However some I can't stand Dubbed and AnC is one of them.

The voice acting is poor and Aya's voice is especially irratating. But what do you guys think?

I should be watching right now but anyway,

Ususally I prefer watching dubbed first then watching it over again in the original Japanese with subtitles.

But I have to agree with you, Aya's voice-over is pretty annoying...It reminds me of Miaka on the second half of Fushigi, the way she would just scream or yell....its sounds so fake and both their voices sounds like they could shatter glass if you put it loud enough.

In my opinion the majority of the female english voice-overs aren't as good as guys. A really good male voice over is Saito form Rurouni Kenshin!!!

I prefer dubbed. I know -- gasp! Really not much of the translation is lost. I watch for the general storyline and the animation. I read slow so I get very frustrated when trying to read subtitles and watch the action. I love art and drawings which is what pulled me the most to anime. Now, it's a lifestyle. One of my favorite pastimes is watching the dubbed with the subtitles turned on to see what's different. Of course, I only do this when I'm very famailiar with the show.

I like Dubbed. Some good animes I have seen are well done. I hated the voices for Aya and Toya, though. The rest of the cast are good. Since I don't really understand the Japanese language (and totally lazy to do the subtitling), I prefer dubbing. :D
