So I'm curious about the spelling of the characters' names in Ceres. Finally, I have some people to ask!!!

IS IT --

Yuuhi or Yuhi?

Touya or Toya or Tooya?

Not that I'm changing how I spell their names but I was just wondering why so many variations. Any thoughts? What do you prefer?

I like Yuuhi because it kinda signifies the triangle over the u in the Yuhi spelling. And I like Toya because that's how it was spelled on one of the episodes.

Well actually in the katakana stuff I see in the artbook, the u and o in Yuuhi and Tooya have one u and o, with a - after it, which would mean like.. you pronounce it like that, so the - means something like an extra letter, I say Yuuhi and Tooya. The DVDs probabaly made it as Yuhi and Toya just cause. Some peopel put a little ^ over the u and o, which is the same thing I think. XD

Thanks, Aki! I was wondering if that was the case.

I personally just like the look of "Yuuhi" and "Tooya", or "Shouta" better... ^_^

But yeah... like Aki said... the little "^" over things... like Yu(insert ^ above that) Watase, instead of Yuu Watase...

*shrugs* I've made complete and utter nonsense here... ^^ Sorry..

I'm just a terrible speller and spell it the way it looks right to me. The way I spell it kind of looks how it would sound to me.

Lol. :D But I don't think there's any right or wrong way to spell it, but I checked the manga, those character profile things, and in English it's spelled "Tooya" at the bottom. :o Some names are so hard, though, some people use the english spelling and some use the romanji. :3
