The anime expo is held in anaheim, ca (l.a.) at the hilton this weekend. You still have time to register for your ticket and badge! Sign up now before it is too late!!

Hey Melfina I'll see you there. I go every year and it works out great
because I live in Anaheim. so this year I don't have to pay for a hotel.

And I think I'm cel hunting for Mikage-san there also.

about the comic part, I don't think I'll be there. My parents will be going to SD on saturday and I'll be at the expo on sunday. Since my relative is busy on saturday.

I already pre-registered but I'm having second thoughts on going.... I was wondering if it would be worth it? Cause I went to one before in the L.A. shrine but my experience wasn't that great.... probably cause I had no money to spend....HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

I knoe the this upcoming one is the big one....so its probably alot better than the one I went to, yeah?

I do plan on going to cons eventually... but not for another year at least. I go pick up my nephew from daycare and I'm half-dead, so... :p

I don't know what to expect. This is my first time going so I am not sure. All I know is, we'll be expecting some guests, KH (Kingdom Hearts) cosplayers, booths to buy anime, etc. Why not check out the site? The only thing I'm looking for is the time as to when the event will begin. As for the second question, I'll be there on sunday.

Edit: Oh how cool... Mitsuru Hongo is going to be one of the guests of honors!! I love him!! LOL !! I guess you know why by looking at around my sig and avvie. :wub:

Whatever you guys do avoid Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00
the place was so packed last year that they were not
allowing people in because they deemed it unsafe. I have gone
to AX for the past 5 years and the turnout last year was
incredible. This year it's suppossed to be even larger.

If your going to be in the anime rooms watching movies get there when it starts in the morning or you will have trouble finding a seat. They are supposed to add another viewing room but we'll see.

And final yugi keep your pre-reg
it is an amazing expierience. plus it's always cool to meet the people you post with
(Hint, Hint ^_~ ) and not to mention when you see the line for people trying to get in and you can skip all that. Just go threw the line for pre reg and your set.

Ahh! I went to the AX last August when it was in Manhattan. n.n It was two blocks away from my house so I just had to drag myself away each morning. It was great, AX is awesome. :O this year I'm just going to BAAF [Big Apple Anime fest] which is in the same place. Just last year they had a joint thing, but it'll still be fun! n.n

Once you register online, print out the pre-registration form and complete it with a check of the total price. Then take this to whatever booth they want you to meet. Most likely to the Un-prepaid registration booth.

I'll definitely be there before or around eight o' clock in the morning. I'll be there with my relative, so yeah, it'll be wonderful. I won't have to worry about Saturday's event so I won't have to fret about all the people. Is there anyone going on sunday?

And Aki, good luck in the anime competition if you are going to enter in with your Ceres costume!!

Edit: There are going to be autograph booths for the guests of honors, too. It doesn't look like any AnC guests will be appearing, though. But if you are planning to get a siggie, bring any material for them to sign. I'm bringing my OS stuff there for Mitsuru....

Man all my words about Saturday being the worst day to go and it looks like that's the only day I can go now. My boss screwed me over and I had to work today tomorrow and Sunday. :angry:

Hey everyone!!! I came back from AX around one or two in the afternoon (left around eight) and it was darn awesome!!! I couldn't get a siggie from Mitsuru, though :extremely angry: because he didn't show up. :loser:

Anyway, on saturday, I got a AnC artbook (the one with Aya on the cover) and it looks sooo pretty!!!! :wub: I fell in love with the piccies!! I'm so happy to have this book.

And on sunday, for the AX, I got a $75 Wei Cel !!!!! The pic is from the Denouement episode. There were also Toya/Shouta, toya, Aya, Aki, Magaki, alec (and couple other chars) and Wei inside of some sort of plane or ship (because it shows Wei standing next to a guy wearing headphones). There were also Dvd's and Magnas of Anc. Cosplayers are awesome, too. There were only a few cosplayers that looked bad. most of them are really cool, though. I wished you were there, yugi and Mikage!!

I'm going back to Sacramento (where I live tomorrow) so I'll see you tomorrow!!

I spend too much money on those little plastic sheets lined with crack.

Sorry for the late reply FY I just never noticed new posts on this topic until today.
The con felt somewhat empty to me because I was only able to go the one day. I just hung around the rooms watching anime and only bought a action figure there.

I'm going to make up for it at comic con this year. Are you going to the event in San Diego this year?
