Title: If Watase made more volumes....
Description: ... what would you do?

Yuhi - June 2, 2003 11:03 PM (GMT)
SPOILERS

Ceres and Shisho/Mikage, Aki, and Kagami are gone. Everything's back to normal. Happy, no more killing.. Wei and Alec are somewhere in Japan... and most of the C-Genomes are either back in heaven, dead, or still on earth. But so far, it seems to be peaceful now.

Since Toya mentioned he doesn't have much time left, and Aya and Toya's baby grows up, what would you want the story to be about? New characters? New enemies?

End spoilers

I know this is tough. But I'd thought I make as many posts as possible to keep this place alive. :)

Oh yeah, happy Class of 2003! And hello to Summer!

Actually there are novels for some during series, and one three part after series novel about their daughter, Miku. Watase did the illustrations for it, I didn't like it too much thoough. Click here for the summaries which are much better than mine

[spoilers!]

Welp Aya has a daughter names Miku, Tooya is still alive [-_-;] and the stuff Kagami left with Alec, are some c-genome eggs if I remember right. And they grow, one was Chidori's ova I think, so it turns into a Chidori cline thing that gets back all of her memories and I think the clone gets with Yuuhi [even though regardless of the memories, it's still NOT her x_x]

One is Miori, and I think her memories come back too. And the last one they don't know who it is, so Alec names her Shiori. Anyway, I don't remember the details. Wei and Assamu came back to save Tooya and Yuuhi. [Assamu is SO sexy when he's older xD and Wei is just... :: DIES ::] something about a Ceres virus taking over the world, Ceres awakens in Miku, and I think Tooya dies and comes back to life again

Aki's made me mad, because they add some character who loved Mikagi in the past, so her reincarnation feels something for Aki, yada yada, the only think I like about the Aki novel is that we find Wei has a sick sister, which is why he's with Mikage, to get $$ to cure her. but she dies I think.

Shuro's is the only one I like. They show you Shuro and Kei's childhood and how Shuro grew up thinking she was a guy until her body starts to change and she realizes she'd not a guy and stuff. And how Kei changes over the course of them becoming famous.

Tooya's made me mad. In the time he went to find himself is where this takes place, I think it was after he gave Aya his sword. Anyway he meets a girl who's not only a tennyo, but even knew Aya and Aki in the past and asked Aki out! [he said no though. HA HA. ;D] And the tennyo tries to seduce him or something. I got mad at that because of the whole "small world" thing and that he just so happened to run into her. The same applies to Aki, first when they're kids and then later on at Mikage.

Damn... How can that be? Kagami's still alive? HOw the hell?!

Okay... that sucks. ERgh!
1) that doesn't make any sense how he survived that ship explosion
2) he may start the cruddy cycle with his "C-proj" again
3) I wished they had those books here in america
4) It feels like the whole story is repeating itself all over again

UPDATE:
1) Great stories! I really want these
2) kagami seems to be more evil now. Looks like "Ragnaleck" or whatever has saved them
3) Ceres virus ...... the past is definitely coming back it looks like.
4) Why do they keep bringing Toya back? I like him and all but, But it doesn't make any sense that they keep bringing him back. He dies... sad. Then all of a sudden, he reappears. I guess whoever made this doesn't want him to die. o__O
5) I want these. Thank you so much, Aki!!!!
so there you go.

That's why a couple days ago I mentioned that it never showed him dead. ^_^; I think it was on the ending thread in the spoiler section. Just incase a sequel were to be made and stuff.

I've read some of the translations before, but it's been awhile since I've done it. I suppose I should do that soon. ^_^;

do you ever think these sequels were to be made in dvd's again? The books are great but, they are probably all Japanese. The books (as summarized by the webmaster) do sound very good and has a great story to it. I think it would be cool if they were to be made into movies as well.

Mikage-san - June 4, 2003 02:52 AM (GMT)
I think they will... It'll just take a long time. :) Fushigi Yuugi is several years older than AnC and its new anime based upon its sequels just released not too long ago.

Yuhi - June 4, 2003 07:03 AM (GMT)
Cool! I can't wait for it!!!

Mikage-san - June 4, 2003 01:53 PM (GMT)
Me, either... I just really, really hope it happens. I don't think AnC was as ever popular as FY... :( But those who have seen FY don't always watch AnC... or those who disliked FY decided not to watch AnC in fear it would be the same, when in actuality, they are everything but.

Anyway... I guess all we can do is wait. :)

Yuhi - June 4, 2003 10:10 PM (GMT)
I actually never saw Fushigi Yugi nor did I ever heard of it until a classmate told me. I also saw the series at Best Buy. I think Ceres will be pretty popular if it was played on TV, too. That way, maybe those who enjoy watching anime on TV will be able to see this. This is one of the reasons why DBZ is so darn popular.

Mikage-san - June 6, 2003 02:40 AM (GMT)
Ohh... you should see Fushigi Yuugi. I like AnC more, but FY was good, too. :)

Yuhi - June 7, 2003 05:58 AM (GMT)
I've seen the magna of FY as well. It was in a magazine-like format. I am going to check it out someday. I might as well collect the Outlaw Star series at the same time, too which shouldn't be too hard since they're a popular than AnC/C:CL. I hope to collect at least the first series of OS. But I rather have the series after The little boy found Gene was fixing up the OS and passed out after he was wounded. I think that was the last series I've seen of OS. I must get all of it quickly! :D

FiNaL_YUgi - June 8, 2003 12:36 AM (GMT)
Yeah, for those who haven't watched Fushigi Yuugi should. Its really nice at the beginning but it kinda gets repetitive at the end and miaka gets annoying!!!!

Sorry I can't post about the topic because I have no idea what you guys have said on your previous post cause I dont want to read them....with all the spoilers and all. Thats why I havent even entered that spoiler board....and thats where all the talking and posting is taking place...huhuhuh ;_;

But it would be nice if Ms. Watase were to create a sequel to AnC like she did for Fushigi....

Melfina - June 27, 2003 07:45 PM (GMT)
Yes, it would be cool if Watase made more volumes, I agree!
And I also kinda skipped down to the bottom of the topic because I don't want
to be spoiled, either so...
