Title: If you were in Aya's shoes....who would you choose
Description: For the guys=Yuhi~chidori or Aya?
Yuhi - May 18, 2003 10:22 PM (GMT)
Imagine you being in Aya's shoes.... if you had to choose between the silent Toya or the loud Yuhi, which of these guys would you go for?
This might be tough. Especially those who prefer Aki over these two.
I'll try my hardest to describe the two guys:
Yuhi ~ An expert chef and martial artist. The brother-in-law of Suzumi Agoiri. He lost his brother and his mother. A little loud, can be obnoxious at times, but is a really sweet guy. Lives with two wonderful people, Mrs. Aogiri and Mrs. Q. Often feels jealous whenever he sees Toya. Was forced to protect Aya after his sis gave him the bandana. Although he cannot stand Aya at times, deep inside he wanted her as his own. And really loves her. He's young at only sixteen. Teases a very small girl but again, cares about her. Has an emotional side and is very protective.
Toya ~ An expert fighter with the ability to materalize a stilletto from his wrist. Moves faster than any ordinary human but lost his memory. Was hired from G-Corp's main man Kagami to regain his memory back. Often chases Aki and Aya around during the beginning of the series. Shows up every time Aya is around and looks like a "stalker". But whenever Aya is in danger, he would rescue her. Toya also falls in love with her.
Toya has a hard time expressing his emotions. For some reason, Toya never does the funny faces we see from the other characters (i.e.: Eyes bulging out when beatened up or have very big mouths when they yell). Toya is able to resist Ceres's powers and most injuries. Has a beautiful choker given to him by a celestial maiden. He is often cold, and doesn't care about people much. Has two high school girls falling for him. He is older than Yuhi, in his early twenties ("he's turning 22 this year" ~ Mioiri). Suffers from terrible wounds but always survives (well, from what I've seen.)
Toya doesn't look like he likes to have fun. But he looks like the type of guy who likes to fight. He tries his hardest to get Aki back to himself.
Lastly (I'm putting too much info. here), Toya can have things implanted in his brain (kind of like a robot) and makes him remember things (like in the school) and can pretend to be whatever Kagami implanted into his head.
This is a lot. Well, I am going to put in the info. for Chidori and Aya later on. I don't know much about Chidori, though.

Actually... Tooya is much younger than Aya. *doesn't say anything more to that* ^^;
Let's see... who would I choose? If I were Aya, I suppose choosing Aki would be out of the question, ne? Unless of course I wished to choose a life of selebacy (sp) and live side-by-side my twin brother... hmm... I wouldn't rule it out. I have no sex drive so there'd be no problem with that being out of the picture.
I would choose Tooya. I don't know why, but I would. Yuuhi is awesome. He's kind, caring, affectionate, and very passionate with his feelings. He would always be there and would be a good provider.
Tooya... isn't. He's a runaround and a coward with his feelings. He thinks deeply before acting upon these things. I think with the kind of person I am, I would want Tooya because I like to "fix" things. If I had a man like Tooya, I would feel it would be my obligation, perhaps physical drive, to just... make him open up... make him more of a man... mold him... melt his insecurities or what have you. ^_^;
I love tasks and "impossibilities" like that.

Hm hm hmmmm. :B I dunno, I mean I never really liked Tooya for some reason, but then the point of Yuuhi being too forward with things [that poor teacup. >>;].
But Tooya seems so bland to me, and depending being in Aya's shoes, as her or with my own personsality, I know I would get along with Yuuhi much much more, cause I'm a psycho fun-loving person. o.o But I think I would choose Yuuhi, but the Yuuhi near the end of the series, because he seems to change a bit, still open with his feelings, but he's just great and would seem to turn out to be a good person to be with for a long time.
But with Tooya I'm not much for, cause he's just not as fun-loving, and to think about it, Yuuhi would be a good person to protect you if you were in trouble [chopsticks o' doom!].

I would choose Yuhi, as well. I mean, Toya... he never really shows any emotion or even expresses it. Which I think, isn't really the kind of guy that I wanted. I want him to be able to show his emotional side when it comes to the point. I want to be able to talk to someone about my feelings sometimes and make him listen to me. Toya doesn't look like the guy I would turn to. Yuhi seems to be the kind of guy who would listen. Although he's a little loud sometimes, at least he isn't a "bastard" like Toya. Although near the end, Toya seems to be a little nicer and more caring sorta. Whereas in the beginning he seems like the guy who should have been avoided.
I would like to have a man who isn't afraid to shed some tears. I cannot imagine a serious man like Toya actually "crying". He just seems so unreal to me. I dunno why. I mean, for some reason, he would probably bore me and avoid me like he would do to Aya sometimes.
Yuhi can be a funny guy sometimes, too! I think he would make a good friend to hang around with and to talk to. And with the skills he got from cooking and using something totally unique and interesting to use to fight (CHOPSTICKS!) he can be a great cook when you are not in the mood to cook and a great bodyguard whenever you feel unsafe.
If Toya can be like Yuhi, just a little, then maybe... maybe I would like him. I just wonder what is going on in his mind sometimes. Is he worried about something?
Either way, Yuhi is definitely the person for me. If I can find a guy that is like Yuhi, then I would know he would always be there for me. No matter what.
So Toya's "younger" than Aya?! :blink: ::shakes head:: that's impossible.

if you look at it one way he is, xD but I always say Tooya is waaaaaay oooooolder than Aya. xD;;
But yeah, Yuuhi is more modern. He knows what's going on and he's a normal teenager, so he'd be great to talk to, and fun. I mean I wouldn't like a guy who sits there. I would want one that would actually join me in running around streets with bags on our heads and scream psycho things in the street. xD;

I still stick with Tooya. :) He surely was a bastard in the beginning of the series, but if you had amnesia and were hired by something similar to a mob, how would you react? (I'd probably crumble and that'd be that... hahaha ^_^;;)
Tooya opens up later on in the series, and that's why I like him. Don't get me wrong, I love Yuuhi to pieces, especially after seeing him with Chidori, but there's something about Tooya... I can't pinpoint it. ^_^
I think the time Aya and Tooya spent on Hachijo(ji?) Island (is "ji" island in Japanese?) made me warm up to Tooya. Especially the shed scene and then the church scene at the end. The only reason he was so cold and distant was because he was alone on the inside.
Oh, slap me silly. I know he's an asshole. :P I pick asshole-men... I like the challange. xD
Aki - May 20, 2003 06:32 PM (GMT)
Don't worry. XD I'm worse, I like psycho Wei, I like Issak from Gundam SEED who kills little girls [and I still squeal whenever he has a little fit of teh angor!!1] and Draco from Harry Potter who is a little scuz-ball. XD Lately I've been into the evil-type or psycho kinna guys. o.o; Strangely Aki, Wei and Issak all have scars. >_>;....
Mikage-san - May 20, 2003 07:36 PM (GMT)
Whenever I read the HP books, all I want to do is punch Draco in the face. Yet when I see a photo of the actor who played him I think, "awwwwww... :D"
Indecisiveness... :o
Aki - May 20, 2003 09:02 PM (GMT)
Yeah he's so mean, but the hot-ness of Tom Felton makes him yummi. :3 Some evil people are just so cute.
Yuhi - May 22, 2003 12:01 AM (GMT)
hmm... I cannot think of any evil guy in movies that are actually good-looking. At least not in the movies I have seen. I've seen HP, the first one. But I just cannot recall him.
Aki - May 22, 2003 12:33 AM (GMT)
He's the little blonde slicked back haired brat. xD hmm but sometimes there are good looking evil guys... like Wei. =d
Yuhi - May 22, 2003 01:54 AM (GMT)
Thanks. I'll try to look back at the movie and find him.
I cannot find any evil guys that are in real movies. But yeah, in anime, there are some evil guys that do look good. Wei is definitely good-looking. Kagami looks good sometimes, too. But the hero always has to be the "dashing" or "handsome" type, huh? The one that gets the gal? Heh, I guess Austin Powers is probably one of those heroes who doesn't fit in that catergory. The only exception is he gets the girl. This goes the same for that ugly guy from Master of Disguise. :lol:
