It's going to be hard to pick. But which dvd cover do you like the least? You don't have to post any reasons/comments.
You don't have to put it in 123 order either.
The dvd covers with Aki and the blindfolded Aya and the blueish image of Aya and Toya are also welcome! <-- If you recall this, these images are supposed to be one of the newer covers. One of the users have the link posted somewhere in this forum.
What would you change in the cover if you have the chance? Or what would you take out?
Please don't put any spoilers since I only have two dvd's. I don't have the other dvd's yet but I am trying my hardest to collect as many as I can. Which is going to take forever. You can post anything about Progenitor and Reqium since they are the only ones I have. Unfortunately. Once I get the rest I will let you all know. But once again, it's going to take forever until I get the rest.
With the exception of Vol. 5 and Vol. 7, I found the covers in a website so I am going to put them in the order just by looking at the pics.

Here's mine. From best to least. These are the original covers.

1) Resolve
2) Double
3) Progenitor
4) Past Unfound
5) Destiny
6) Reqium
7) Denouement
8) C-Genome

If I could change something about the American-release DVDs, it would be putting the original Japanese jacket covers on them. :3 Yuu Watase drew the covers for the Japan-ones, the as far as now the only way you can get the pictures are from the cards. I have all the jacket cards, but they still never released that one with Aki with Shiso and the bloody hand with that sexii evil look. e.o;...

But for the American-released ones, as much as I do love the image of bloody Aki and his hand on the old Progenitor DVD, they reversed the image, so it doesn't look *right*, but the one I like least would have to be C-Genome for the main reason the picture is at the wrong time of the series. o_O As you can see with Aya's hair.

I think my least favorite is the one of Aya/Yuuhi/Tooya on it, with the yellowish bright colors... I'm too lazy to go to my closest to see which one it is...


My fave would be the bloody Aki and the Shiso blindfolding Aya... *______*

I agree, Aki! Aya's hair was definitely wrong. Her hair should have been longer in the cover.

At first sight I thought that was Toya on top left corner and of the dvd and another Toya holding Aya. But I just took a good look at it noticed the different hairstyles. I think it was the same haircolor that fooled me.

Wahh I really wish there was a piccu somewhere of that green-sweater Aki with bloody hand looking @ you Shiso in the background one. ;o; I would give my left arm for a big, good quality piccuuuu waaaaah. x.x; I never saw a bloody Aki/Shiso look so... yummy. **;

AND YEAH, for a minute when I saw that picture I was like "Durhh are there two Tooya's in that picture?" Then i was like "OOOOOOOH :: slaps head :: XD"

Mikage, thanks for the link!! They are beautiful!! I love both pictures!! Aww!! I would love to have those! They are sooo much better than those damn American-made ones. But I wish Watase drew them for American versions. HOW UNFAIR!

Heh, reminds me of them Japanese-made video games, you know? Japanese people get the good stuff like extra things into the games like Final Fantasy X:International/Another Story and they Get cool stuff with it, too.

and ergh, the Japanese gets Sailormoon Sailorstars! America got none of it! That's so wrong. Why? Because they are so lazy, sometimes. I wish Sailorstars was on sale here. I'd get it even if its only in Japanese. I would love to see the Threelights perform. Sadly, the only parts I've seen of Sailorstars was at the very last part, where they are fighting. I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it. I seriously hate downloading the movies online. Because sometimes it won't go through or it will be too short. Dangit.

Yeah, I was kinna mad when I heard the .hack games didn't have the extra mode where you play through the game, but it's all a joke with what the characters say, but then I found out that they couldn't fit it cause they kept the Japanese normal version for people who didn't wanna listen to the whole game in English, so it was cool with me cause I play the game with the Japanese voiceovers. xD

But yeah, I'm not into SM, but they never released a series of it into America? That's what I don't like, on Cartoon Network and stuff like that, they show a series, and then just stop showing it and the people who wacthed it are like "wtf?" and sometimes the dubbers just stop making it, so thats why TV doesn't air it, but recently on CN they've been horrible. They're trying to show so many series that they cut other ones off and that's why I've cut away from it, with excepion of Johnny Bravo and stuff. xD;

Yeah, Sailorstars WAS NEVER released in America. NEVER!! Probably only Sailormoon series like Sailormoon S or something. The only ever "new" characters I've seen were Chibimoon and Sailor Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus. That was it. It was cool for a while, then it got really boring.

Believe it or not, I've seen Tekken movie on tv and hey, since it is in America, they cut off the some of the nude scenes in it. Heck, if they ever played Ceres series on TV, you can expect tons of that being cut off. Americans have a fear of little children being scared off their pants when they watch it.
Heh, I bet Americans cut off the kissing scenes between Uranus and Neptune, too. Since you know... their lesbians. And since little girls usually are waaay into SS stuff, they will be grossed out and probably will never watch it again. :lol:

I've been loving Outlaw Star series ever since it was on Cartoon Network. Unfortunately, Toonami can only be seen in the middle of the night sometimes since I have Direct TV and the time on the damn cable is NY Time (I live in Cali). I fell in love with the series so much. Then I ended up missing the rest because I couldn't stay up late. So, hopefully, I'll be able to get some of the dvd's so I can watch them again.
I'm not sure if it's even still in the CN. I'd doubt it. Heck, DBZ has been playing TONS of re-runs in CN so I just stopped watching it. Johnny Bravo was probably the only thing that interests me in CN. Although now I'm not a big TV fan that much. :P

BTW, Aki, I clicked on your pudgie and fell into your pudgie adoption site. The pudgies for Ceres are sooo cute! I wish I can make those! Wow! You are really good!!

I don't think you'd want Sailor Stars released to the US. If they could do it, just releasing the subbed version, or making a dub ONLY for video/DVD release, it might be acceptable.

They couldn't put it on TV unless they butchered it completely. America's views are too closed-minded to see nudity, unfaithfulness, and sex-changes per episode...

I loved Sailor Stars, completely... but the Star Lights having to change sexes every episode would be "too hard to explain" to younger audiences.

Just hope it gets put on a DVD/Video release with a 16-up rating... ^_^;

On Topic, I really like the Progenitor and the Destiny dvd covers. But then again, the JP always gets the best ones. Heck, even the JP Outlaw Star covers look tons better than the NA ones. The NA ones just look more colorful. And why oh why did they put Aisha Clan Clan on the Second DVD? Why??? :(

But for the least favorite AnC dvd cover, I have to say the C-Genome and Denouement. Ceres looks evil in the Denouement cover. And C-Genome, well, just by looking at the cover I really don't like it as much. And like Aki said, Aya's hair is wrong. But the rest is okay, I guess.
