snortstah - December 7, 2003 11:25 PM (GMT)
has anyone seen it? i saw it today and i loved it. it is my perfect movie: a depressing tone and cool samurai action, lol. anyway i thought it was a beautiful movie and highly reccomend it.
anyone else have any thoughts?

I was planning on skipping it just because
I couldn't accept the fact that Tom Cruise
was a samurai. But since you praise it so
much I'll probably reconsider it.

 Oh my god that sucks!!! I feel
so bad for you. I'd never in my life go to
the movies if it took that long to get there.

Hey snortstah,
I'm not sure if they still have it but a few years back
the RIO hotel in Las Vegas had a tour of Titanic.
They had all kinds of stuff they pulled from the
ship. Like personal things and ship pieces. Also the
creepy part was that with no warning you walk into a
room that is identical to the grand entry way. It was
fun and you should check it out if they still have it.
Oh yeah, if it's still there don't take any pictures. I
did and they took my freakin camera away.

Snorts, also you should try going to Orlando, Florida. Just minutes away from Universal Studios is a place called Titanic. It's really cool!
Your ticket has the name of an actual passenger of the Titanic. You go in to the shipyard where they're building the Titanic. Then you cross a gangway and board the ship. You go through rooms such as living quarters, the dining room and of course the grand stairway. Each room has people in character who'll tell you all sorts of info. My favorite part is what came next.
We stepped outside of the deck the night of April 15th. We were there in the summer wearing shorts. It was freezing in this room because it was set for the actual temperature that night. Looking over the railing, we could see chunks of ice floating in the water and the iceberg.
The final room was filled with stuff from the 1998 movie. Kate's dresses and Leo's outfits were there. And as you walked out, there was a wall of names of all the passengers and crew of the Titanic. Next to each name was whether they lived or died that night. You were supposed to match your ticket to the name on the wall. My person was a second class lady who lived. My friend was a first class man who died.
And to say I was on the topic, I haven't decided about going to see the Last Samurai yet. BUT I have my ticket for the LOTR: The Return of the King next Tuesday night at midnight!!!
