I really hope everyone is weathering Hurricane Isabel ok! I know I don't have to worry about anyone on the west coast. And I've had beautiful weather unaffected by the storm. Isn't someone on this forum from Virginia though?

Seriously, hope you weather it well. I used to live near Virginia Beach so I know how bad hurricanes can get.

:blink: I didn't get affected at all but I lost my AC today. :angry: Had to call out from work to stay home and wait for maintance to come. It was 90 in my apartment with 4 fans going. Good thing I called them first thing in the morning because they showed up at 7pm. It's 10pm now and with the AC at full blast, my place is now down to a cool 78. :lol:

lol, i'm from virginia...

yeah, but where i live is pretty mainland area, so all we got was about 20-30 mph winds and pretty heavy rains, but as far as i can tell nothing was damaged ~^-^~.

i feel bad for the people that live on the beach, tho, they didn't get off so lucky. i'm originally from florida, though, so we were prepared to see it come our way if we had to.

I was really worried about a friend who went on vacation to Virginia Beach and was supposed to be driving to Atlanta that day. Turns out, she left earlier.
