Title: Future Plans...

Mikage-san - September 10, 2003 03:23 PM (GMT)
What do you all plan on doing with your lives? What is your ultimate dream? What would be your "happiness", so to speak?

Some of us are at the age where we will begin to step on the path, some of us may already be half-way or a quarter-way there... but I know that everyone has their dreams, regardless of age or experience.

My "ultimate dream" is to be a clinical psychologist, but have my own office where I can work when I want to (and make damn good money at that ^^;;). I can already see bits of my house in my head. I plan to have it custom made with a Feng Shui designer.

I also want one child -- a boy, but if I get a girl the first time I'll try again later for a boy. My ideal would be just one baby since I already have a nephew I take care of quite a bit. ^_^

It sounds silly, but I also want a bathroom with a hot tub sized bathtub. *_* I hate being 6 feet tall, so I want a tub that's a TUB, dammit. xD;;

lolz! wow i'm 4'11" hehe

me.......well i'm a freshman and so i've only got a few years to think of what i might do. i really have no idea carrer wise. actually, what i would LOOVE is it to be like it was in the 50's or so. the men get the jobs, make the money, etc and the women stay home and take care of the kids, cook and clean.......i would love that! but since that'll never happen, i'm really not sure about what i'd like to do.
i want 1-3 kids. if i only have one, i want a girl, if i have 2 i want 2 girls, but like 1 or 2 years apart so they can be close, and if i have 3, i want a boy and younger twin girls (hah like i could really plan for that)

i want a lot of wood floors in my house! and i want a big one! but i don't want to live in a suburb. i mean it's good for leeetle kids, but when they get older, they HATE them because the burbs are BORING!!! so i want to live either in a big grassy field kinda place, with a custom built house, or in the city with a decent sized house.

Doesn't sound silly to me the 5'11" girl. Of course, you'd be jealous if you saw my current bathroom. Huge tub! HUGE!

Gee, I was wondering when we'd get around to this subject. I'm always curious about what other people want to do. Giving that info out about myself is another story. I've been "screwed over" by telling people things I want to do with my career so I'm gunshy saying anything. However, I'm more stable now with my life goals.

As far as family, I'd like to get married and have a son. And I'd really love to live in a somewhat isolated beach house. (I'm just really tired of rude neighbors. I need to get out of my apartment lease. )

As far as career, well without being too specific, I'm actually holding my dream job. My entire life I remember saying I'm going to . . . and 9 months after college graduation, that career started. The difference now is I've proven that I can do it and I've done everything in that field that I ever wanted to so what's next? So my new dream is to become a famous writer and have one of those books that kids are forced to read in high school.

If you really want to know what I do, just ask.

I want to know. ^_^ I know you've heard this line before, but I really AM open-minded. If you'd rather PM it to me, feel free. If anyone has something bad to say about it, they'll have to deal with the evil moderator. :ph43r:

Don't worry snortstah! I'll make sure it doesn't happen until you're out of high school.

And it's ok Mikage-san. My friend that I've mentioned frequently is on a message board about the Big O anime series. She completely goofed and told everyone about watching 3 episodes of the show before it aired or made it to DVD. Sure, there are boot legs, etc out there but she didn't think about it. And no one has treated her bad. So, here goes. I work at Cartoon Network. Bring on the complaining.

O.O You work at CN? Wow!

I think it's interesting! I don't much care for their anime section, but I do watch some other things on there. Wow... o_o

Whatever happened to Adult Swim's Baby Blues? :P

Man I'm just late to everything these days.

Well I have finally myself figured out what I'm going to do. I was going to be a business major since that's a sure bet. However I realized that wouldn't make me happy and will shot for my dream job.

I think mikage-san already knows what I want to do.

I am going to and I repeat going to work in the music industry. I will make sure of it. It's the only job I can see myself doing the rest of my life. I would prefer for my band to get signed but if that never happens I will work for a music label somewhere. Either producing or discovering talent.

Remember you heard it here first and if my band gets signed your're all going to by at the party or I'll hunt you all down and make you pay  JK but it would be nice to meet everyone.

That's really cool, TD! I'm sure you'll make it. Just let me know if you need any help contacting anyone. I know a few people on that side on the biz. (Key words - few people.)
