works for Kagami. In the G-Corp (?) I got the comic book before the dvd and when I read it, I could have sworn the blonde person that stood behind Kagami (who wore the glasses) looked female. To by shock, when I watched the dvd it had a male voice. I know this is dumb, but it was quite surprising. :lol: I had no clue that that blonde assistant was a guy. :lol:

I liked Alex in Reqium. He's pretty cool, imo.

Yeah, Alec is cool... He comes around in the end. He has an after-part in the manga sequel, which I've read a bit about but haven't aquired yet. It's cute, though I won't spoil any of it. ^_^

I think Alex and Wei were both cool
characters that weren't used enough
in the anime version.

I do not know Wei, but I think Alex is cool. I agree. Far more better than his "boss." Although his boss, Kagami, is really good looking for his age. :P

Gosh, this anime has a lot of good-looking guys in here. And the Aya/Ceres, Chidori, Suzumi, etc. look very pretty, too. I like how Yu Watase drew the characters. Very nice.

You might know Wei, since you saw the Toota episode, he was the one who had Tooya tied up with his whip, and kept pulling him up whenever he fell. n.n; In the manga early on he's that sexy long-haired whip-weilding Chinese guy who hates Tooya... Weiiii~ :: swoons ::

And for Alec. O___O; Omg Alec rocks. XD Deshiiii~ I love that whole "You're not the devil or God thing" and that one part where he gets 'tricked' by a certain evil someone. he had that look on his face that clearly said "I messed up bad" But yeah, when I first saw him in ep 1 I was like "is that a guy or a girl? >_>;"

Mikage-San, I only have the vol. 7 dvd. :( And the matching comic book from Viz Comics. It is okay you do not have to send me anything. I am patient. I do not understand the Japanese language so whenever I buy the dvd I always have to listen to it in English. Thank goodness it had that option. I was worried at first.

I was not very familiar with Wei. I did not know his name. But thanks Aki for telling me his name and the scene with him in it. Since I am new to the series, I guess I do not really like him. But I have to find and buy the other series then maybe my mind will change I dunno.

Was Tooya supposed to be ........ killed? or was he supposed to be tortured? Wei did have that shocked expression on his face after Tooya stopped breathing.
I guess Aki's mind control caused him to kill Tooya. I had no idea that Mikagi really wanted him dead. :(

He wasn't supposed to be killed. Before Shiso shoots him the last time he says "I was going to wait to kill you to lure Aya here." Shiso [the descendant who controls Aki's body] did want Tooya dead, but he wasn't supposed to kill him, at least not then. They were going to use him to make Aya come to them, but I do think eventually Shiso would have killed him. It was just that Tooya kept calling to Aki at that part, and try and get him to beat Shiso and take over again, and since Aki was fighting Shiso at that part, that drove Shiso kinna angry and insane so he just shot him.

Yesh, the whole series is sad. x.x But that's what makes it great also. :D

I hate crying when it comes to sad scenes. But I am going to buy the others still.

Yuhi-san, do you watch it with the subtitles on? I think you'll find you like it much better. Reading subtitles can be a pain, but the English dub does it no justice to its true goodness. ^_^

I had my mother watch the WHOLE series with me, and she would NOT listen to it in English. I think she has a thing with Japanese male voices now... ^_^;; Deary me, what have I done?

Yeah, I remember I made myself watch it in English all the way through once, I think it was my third time around watching it, and they just didn't get everything. Like when they explained some things they did some of it wrong. x.x; So I was like "Gaaaah!"

I usually don't notice that. But I am going to TRY to read it with subtitles, though. I had a Street Fighter II V (that's the letter "V") and when I popped it in it was Japanese and had to read it in subtitles. Which was no big deal. The only problem is that it takes the eyes off the movie while you try to read the words. But I am going to try to read subtitles.

Subtitles are a pain at first, but I promise you, in time you'll be saying "How could I have anime any other way? ^_^"

I mean I used to kinna be 'dubs are okay' and I still half-way agree with it. Some people don't have Chinatown and whatnot, parents might not let them on ebay, so they only have places nearby that might only have dubs. I started going toward the 'dubs are scary/evil' way when .hack//SIGN aired, because .hack is a very loved series of mine, and with that I get picky with. XD;
