As for the rest of you "shy" ones, you're only as young or as old as you feel on the inside. I know when I was 14, online all the adults thought I well into my 20s. It's all how you portray yourself, and I'm sure you all do fine. So please don't feel shy about being younger. ^_^

As for my age, I will be 19 in a few months, but for now I am 18.

I look at age as only being a number. You gain a lot of experience and wisdom as you go along, but I don't care for the typical age stereotype.

You're so kind, Mikage-san! :wub: If y'all met me in person, you'd think I'm younger than I am. Most people guess my age as 24.

Looks like I'm one of the older ones here, I'll be 22 this Saturday. On one hand I don't feel old or "grown up", but on the other hand I don't feel the same... I can't explain it. Being an "adult" is really weird! :unsure: What's odd is that it used to be whenever someone met me (in person) they would think I was quite a bit older than I was... but now that I am "older", people think I'm younger (usually 17). It's kind of upsetting, actually. I sure hope I don't come off as immature... *sigh*

Take it from the 32-year-old, UrdNoDa, you don't sound immature. I know exactly what you're talking about. It's weird hitting 22 because you're an adult but few people treat you like one.

Wow....I didn't realize that our ages varied so much. Its nice to see that there are still people who havent out grown the anime addiction....I myself will probably be one as well. :lol: ((no offenses to anyone....if any was taken, I apologize))

I'm 17....yet people mistake me not to be my age. When I first started college, classmates thought I was around their age bracket....18 or so but I was only turning 16. But when I'm out on the streets, people think of me as younger.

My point being that Mikage-san is right, It all depends on how you project yourself. You can act young and BE young or act mature and BE mature..

my mom tells everyone that I look fifteen. I can act immature when angry, though. ^_^;; . But it is hard to change my attitude when my father always yells at me. Personal reasons. :(
