Title: The Ultimate Sacrifice
Description: could you

Being a big fan of Aki, I had to ask the "ultimate" question. Do you think you could give up your life for someone else?

( Huh, this poll actually gives me an idea for another poll. I'll save it for later. I want to see how this one works first.)

I know I've always said I could but if I was really faced with it . . . For my brother, there's no question. YES! For my friends and other loved ones, I'd like to think I could.

I know I could. It would be more out of instict than actually having to think about it. Anyone who knows me knows that if your in a jam I am there no questions ask.

And I will do whatever it takes to help. If the person is dear to me and the choice was my life or theres the choice is pretty clear. Sacrifice all the way.

Also I believe that if I didn't sacrifice myself I would be sacrificing the other person and to me that is a crime.

I could definately do it for my nephew. At times I eat, sleep, and breathe that kid.

There's one more person I'd die for, should the need come up. (This is me saying for certain.) I would like to think I'd do it for others, but I'm not sure. I KNOW I would do everything in my absolute power... so perhaps.

it reeeeeeally depends on the person, but yes. i could do it. hell, i almost got run over shoving a kid outta the way of a car, so i think i could defanetely do it.

I would probably.....depending on the situation. I mean like if I were to push someone away from getting hit by a car, I would do it...instincts of course. As for making a decision on something I have time to think....as in someone gave me a choice whether it be a someone else's life or mine...I would give mine up. I've been satisfied with my life so I'm ready to go anytime...

WOW! So far it sounds like we're a bunch of honorable people. Glad to hear that! I hope none us are ever faced with anything even close to what Aki, and Aya for that matter, had to face.

Even Toya had to chose between his life or Aya's. Although in his case, he wasn't sure to die at that moment. He could be killed by Mikagi or hang around for a few more years until the power of the robe wore off and killed him. I think his decision was the hardest because he had time to think about it. Once his memories came back, he knew the consquences.

But Chidori made her decision I think not only out of love but out of instinct. Her choice was all a split second decision. Faced with her situation, my instinct would take over and shove whomever out of the way just like she did.
