just like the topic says. How much of a role does anime play in your life? my parents think i'm obbsessed but im not. i love to do other things. ex. read, write, sing, dance, etc. how about u? whats anime to you?

Humm thats a tough call. I think mine is pretty much a hobby. I don't buy that often unless I'm really into a certain series. I'll go a week or more without watching um cause lefts fact it fanatic or not it gets old and you have to put sume distance between veiwings. Plus I watch real shows, Charmed, ER, The Lost World, ect,. I'm into horror movies and have 1 hell of a collection of thoes. Plus I read and listen to music and play games. Humm I'm not as big a fan as I thought I was lol.

I dont think about it often but i guess its just a hobby cuz I'm not obsessed with it but I like to watch it so yeah i guess its just a hobby to me.

Uhhm... anime before is an obsession. Like, I don't buy lunch just to have money for anime stuff. But now... anime became a hobby. I'm just too busy with work and everything so I had to drop the anime-intake for a little bit.

Hmm.. well it is a hobby, but you can also say it is kind of a lifestyle.....

Well...it's damn near an obsession. At one point, it was my whole life. Since then, things have quieted down, but it is, of course, still a huge factor of my life.

hmm....not an obbsession for me....*hides all anime stuff* i truly love anime! it not only entertains me, but it also is very insightful on how another culture is!

ditto to what fiery_ice said. i've been really busy with things at school so now i hardly ever know about all the new animes and mangas that come out to the u.s. anime and manga use to be an obsession. major. but, i've calmed a bit.

Thats how it is with me. It used to be everyting to me. But now i dont even own any anime/manga stuff. I dont spend every moment thinking about it. Especially in high school. theres enough stuff there to keep ya busy for years.

But then again I really don't have much to look forward to at the end of my day expect for a dirty apartment (I really should clean. . . ahh I'll do it later) Anywho It's an obsession for me because it makes me think it makes me creative so I don't have a choice it has to be an obsession.

I Like It Alot, But Its Just More Of A Hobby Fer Me Though. But Actually I Ain't Much On The Anime Stuff Lately....Been Too Busy With School, Friends, Boyfriend, & Just I Have Kind Of Lost Interest Myself...I Just Say Its More Of A "When-I-Feel-Like-It-Hobby" Its Been Forever Since I've Sat Down & Watched Any Anime Really.

Less off both for me. I don't even really watch anime these days or keep up with all the new series comming out. Not interested for the most part. I still read a manga or two here and there though.

Anime is entertainmnet for me. I don't see any reason for it to be more. I used to be obsessed with it untill I got sick of the fans themselves and my parents telling me it was stupid. I have a better hobby now anyway. Playing guitar is far more productive than watching some cartoons.

its a hobby to me. i havent bought any anime or manga but ive gotten some for presents from the one hoo got me started in it. i record the long series on DVR but i wont watch em till its like 97% full
