Wind in my hair, looking out at the sea
So this is what its like to be free
Its simple heaven when riding the tide
Don’t ever know how the ocean with lie
Son on my shoulders sharing its rays
Sitting, relaxing, enjoying the day
What is better than a day like this,
Gliding on the ocean in perfect bliss
Doubts
Is this meant to last,
Or is it bound to end?
Will this never pass
Or will we just be friends?
Will we last forever?
Will you feel the same tomorrow?
Will you fall in one endeavor?
Will my life fall in shadows?
I know I doubt, I’m sorry I do
I just need some proof, some clue
But I see it then and in you I trust
That you won’t let me fall into a bust
That leaves me paralyzed and hurt
In pain, soon to be buried in the dirt.
