(ooc: okies, finally getting off me lazy butt and becoming active again...but it's been months since I've RPed (oh no!) soooo...anyone who wants, come gets)

The sky was the bland grey that always comes before storms. The previously still air was disrupted as a wind picked up and the entire area held it's breath in anticipation of the torrent that was to come. A cloaked figure trudged apathetically through the slightly moist ground outside the ancient church, her boots making light squelching noises as the depressed the earth beneath them. A falcon wheeled high above her before diving to land on a naked tree by the entrance to the church. It was then that the rain started, first in a light mist and shortly becoming large, drenching droplets. The bird flew in through a broken stained glass window to the relative haven of the ruins, letting out a piercing cry behind him as if urging his companion to follow.
The half-rotted doors creaked in noisily, a bolt of lightning illuminating the outside as she stepped in onto the worn stone floor. The falcon Miko had fluttered his way to a perch on the wooden rafters above and let out another cry to caution her. They weren't alone here.
Choosing not yet to abandon the hood that obscured her features, she fingered the hilt of her blade and called out her inquiry authoratativly:

"Who's there? Show yourself!"

He looked down at her from the rafters, his light red eyes gleaming as the eyes of a raven. " Seems like a rat has stumbled into my ruins" He said quietly. He stood up and fell forward plumiting towards the ground. *here i come little one* he thought as he fell* A whirlwind of dust spead around him as he landed. The hooded figure swade back, sheilding their face from the dust and wind. The looked up from the dust only to see darkness again, the figure unshiethed their blade, and called out " So... Who are you? What business do you have here?" Yuko started to walk forward slowly, as a lightning bolt sent a array of light over him just giving the person a glimpse of him. He continued his pace towards her. Another bolt of lighting.... He grew closer.... Another one, he was even closer...
The hooded person stood up and readied themselves. All of a sudden they felt a small panting breathe comming from infront of them. Another bolt shown yuko standing almost body to body with the person, He towered above her,. "Lets play a game little girl" He said softly. She attemped to strike, but he jumped back evading. He grinned as he took out his dual katanas, getting down in his fighting stance. He said aloud in a mocking voice " Your move..."

Sahari glared at the agile figure. "I don't like games," she sneered, gripping with white knuckles the handle of her sword. Thinking the better of a physical attack, she cupped her hand and allowed it to fill with familliar white flame beneath her cloak. Another lightning strike illuminated the malicious smile on her face.
"But if I must..." she said listlessly, before launching the fireball from beneath her cloak and charging behind it, naked sword before her.

He did a Blade:Teki technique,(doing a massive uppercut with a geyser of water comming from the ground) cutting the fireball in half. Sending the two smaller blasts into the far walls, the walls crumbling beneathe the force. As he landed, the girl struck. Doing a downard blow. Yuko attemped to catch the blade between his two, but only deflected the blade. It hit the left side of his face, just grazing his left cheek.

"Im surprised girl, you actually hit me" he said sarcastically. He threw up his katanas up, knocking the girls sword up along with them. He grinned as he did a double slash with his blades across the girls stomach. It hit her full force, knocking her back about five feet, skidding on one knee. The breathe left her lungs as the blow connected. She gasped for air for a few secs, then regained herself slowly, as he stood up and looked at her rougishly. " So.... Who are you exactly?" He asked.
"My name.....::another gasp for air: My name is sahari... Not that you need to know..." She stood up and readied herself, a look of disgust on her face. " You wont be doing that again.... ill make sure of it" she said with hatred in her voice...

He's strong, she thought, her ribs throbbing painfully, but...not impossible.
Her mind raced quickly through her options as she retured his level gaze. In an instant she knew what she had to do. Sahari drew her dagger with her free hand and began to charge, teleporting in close at the end to catch him off guard. She slashed once with each weapon. Then, ducking and spinning low with her sword arched above her head defensively, she struck at his achilles tendon with her dagger and rolled back and away. She ran, jumped and teleported herself into the shadows of the rafters and began healing her wounds, keeping one eye on her adversairy.

He yelled out in pain as he looked down at his ankle and calf. The blood was pouring from the wound, a puddle gathering at his feet. He jumped to a low rafter and propped his leg up. Using a small Katon Spell, he cauterized the wound, then using a Hyoton spell to numb his leg. "Aww, poor baby, did i hurt a little bit?" Yuko heard from around him. "Im sure i can take the pain away, dont worry." Sahari said sarcsticly, with a little wince of pain in between breathes.

Yuko stood up and reached into his Togi pockets and came out with 10 manju shurikens ,1 for each finger. Come one out little one He thought to himself.
He jumped down from his loft and landed between the Pews and the Alter. The storm outside raged, the lighting sent rays of light from every window, finally showing Saharis position. "Checkmate little girl!" He said sternly. But just as he said it, she was gone. Above? Behind? Flanked? where is she gonna come from, think yuko think he thought. He readyed his Shurikens, preparing for anything......


(sorry if this seems crappy, i havent posted in a while ^_^, just Look at it grin, just to make me feel ok ;p)

Before he even finished yelling "Checkmate", Sahari had teleported herself still deeper into the shadows to the right of him. She whistled sharply and her falcon shreiked and began fluttering his wings, sending the noisy echos of feathers rasping against the old walls and providing her sound-cover as she chanted Angels Light to mend her ribs.
Whistling sharply again, she dropped from the rafters as her falcon swooped up again to the safety of the shadows. Backflipping over a half-broken pew, she stared up at the ceiling and grinned, a throwing knife in each hand.

"Come and get me, big boy"

As he heard the sound he span around and sent one of the Shurikens soaring towards the far right side. The many tiny blades around it severed both stone and wood, as it went through one of the posts and ended up lodged in a wall. Sahari looked over at him and laughed at his anxiousness. "Come one now, i know you can do better than that"

Yuko looked at her in disgrace, taking that smirk and laugh as a shot to his pride.
" Fine then, try this on for size" He infused some energy within his shurikens and threw them one by one at her, She jumped and dodged the first five, but as she soared to the ceiling she realized that they were following her. "Shit" she said under her breath. He let the last 4 go, and reached into his pocket for more, "We'll see how agile you realyl are"

The storm raged on searing the earth with jagged forks of lightning and a new shadow swept in from the storm. Vua pulled the hood back from his head and looked around, his eyes wandering across the the rafters and the cold stone underneath his feet, then he saw them.

He had heard them of course even among the crashes of thunder that assaulted his ears as he made his way here, but now that he had seen them he knew why he had taken the time to come here this night. As Vua swept out his empty right hand the Shurikens halted in mid-air before another gesture of his hand embedded them into the furthest wall. With his other hand he brought the end of his staff to the floor.


"Children, children." He said while shaking his head. "This just won't do." ...

"Who are you?!" Yuko said abroad, " I know your not gonna try to interupt our fun... unless you plan on getting hurt yourself...." Yuko turned to the man and walked forward, his katanas still down at his sides, the blades pointing behind him ready to strike. "Well.... what you gonna do?" yuko ended up face to face with the figure, looking down appon him. He stared into his eyes, neither one of them showed fear nor mallice, yet yukos eyes began to burn as he knew how this little confrontation was goin to end....

"I'd be delighted." Vua said, sweeping away his cloak with a wave of his right hand. With his staff held fast against his outside arm, Vua slips bonelessly into a crouched combat stance. Vua raised his empty hand and beckoned his opponent forward.

"You asked for a game." Vua said, his eyes alight with amusement. "Now both of you shall have one."...
