Title: Disney Movies
Description: :o
Shawn Michaels - October 21, 2004 12:55 AM (GMT)
Okay, homecoming theme for my school is "A Whole New World"...Or Disney. xD
Freshmen(9th grade): Finding Nemo
Sophmores(10th grade): Aladdin
Juniors(11th grade): Beauty and the Beast
Seniors(12th grade): Peter Pan
Being the Disney little girl, I was happy my school did a good decision for once. xD Everyones been going around like "I wish our grade had Pocahontus!! =/" "I wish ours had beauty and the beast..." Or stuff like that.
Wheather you guys would like to admit it or not, I know all of you were in love with Disney at least in one part in your life. xD And I wanna know which one made you glee everytime you saw it. :D And I mean the CLASSIC ones. Not the news ones like Finding Nemo. I mean the ones you watched when you were like 5.
(( And I purposelly didn't put Nightmare before Christmas because it shouldn't count. xD It's not a classic one! ))
Wow, I guess the poll thing didn't work. *feels stupid* xD Well just pick from the list and then reply! :D
Bill Gates - October 21, 2004 01:02 AM (GMT)

I was gonna put it, but then thought it about, then was like "Naah no one can be that dumb enough to actually love that movie!"
xD Just kidding, but that movie..is boring! x_x
Bill Gates - October 21, 2004 08:44 PM (GMT)
Bah :P That movie is really classic. That's why it's boring.
Actually, to pick from your list up there, I'd prolly say Lion King.
Mr. T - October 21, 2004 11:27 PM (GMT)
If you're not gonna count Nightmare... (which is a disney movie! it's in KH for chrissakes...)
Then Mulan. ^^ Warrior girl and little dragon=make Jilly happy
Bruce Lee - October 22, 2004 12:24 AM (GMT)
rofl Aeris i see your poll problem. It's funny cause it tell's you what to do.
See where it says:

Please put one answer per line.
Maximum 15 answers.
I've bolded the important part ;)
And my fave disney movie is Mulan.
Mr. T - October 22, 2004 12:49 AM (GMT)
I fixed the poll, and took the liberty of adding Mulan. ^^ (Gomen KT, but no more room for Lady and the Tramp)
BP9 - October 22, 2004 02:28 AM (GMT)
Oh no not lady and the tramp ;_; xD

No worries. I'll just uh..pick something else.
The Lion King. I still cry when I watch it. Simba's voice when you-know-who kicks the bucket...aww ;_;
And Matt, I remember Aladdin for the SNES! That game was really fun! ^_^
Mr. T - October 22, 2004 02:07 PM (GMT)
I remember the Aladdin game! Heehee, so much fun. ^^ I think I still have it somewhere in my bro's room. Hmm, I should go dig it out and relive the memories.
Hugh Laurie - October 23, 2004 06:39 AM (GMT)
Dude. No Little Mermaid. ;_; I go cry now.
And no The Rescuers!? That was classic. :P 2 of my faves and Aladdin. xD
Shawn Michaels - October 23, 2004 12:57 PM (GMT)
The Rescuers down under was awesome, I <33 mice.
Bill Gates - October 23, 2004 09:53 PM (GMT)
Omg, when I was like, 11, I watched that movie one summer, EVERY SINGLE DAY.
I'm not too sure why anymore, but I think I was trying to get the Australian accent down. xD Didn't work though.
Bruce Lee - October 24, 2004 02:16 AM (GMT)
Ok then, cheers Jill. I'd have edited the poll but i forgot, or something close to that reason. Anyway, i vote Mulan and it's winning!

Winged Alexiel - December 21, 2004 07:38 AM (GMT)
Also you forgot Beauty and the Breast..My favorite..I love that movie soo much..-wants the dvd badly- Bell is my favorite so nice and sweet..I thorugh the breast looks hunsome in brest and human form..It was so cute and nice in the end..Beel saw his true self his heart..^__^
Kiefer Sutherland - December 21, 2004 01:01 PM (GMT)
Beauty and the Beast is up there...o_O pay attention man...
Ok...quite frankly...I was one of those kids who really DIDNT LIKE ANY OF THOSE LAME DISNEY MOVIES!!! Im serious here...they were all crap...I hated the lion king, I hated beauty and the beast, I hated all of them...possibly the only one that gets an 'alright' rather than a 'worse than dog crap' rating would have to be aladin...but even that was poor...
See, at the age of 5 or 6 I was already watching movies like Star Wars and stuff...in fact those 3 were the only movies I ever watched...I didnt watch any of the lame cartoony movies...the only thing I ever had to do with disney were Donald Duck, Ducktales, Marsupilamy (HOWEVER YOU SPELL IT), and the timon and pumba SERIES!!!
So yeah...IF there was a option on your poll that says "I dont like any of these damn movies..." then maybe I would have voted...enough said...
Sean Connery - December 21, 2004 03:36 PM (GMT)
Why does this not surprise me, Peter? :P
I myself LOVED Mulan. Spaztasticly so. I mean, frankly it had some of the best action in a Disney movie, plus I loved the songs and the storyline. ^ ^ so yeah.
Bruce Lee - December 21, 2004 04:06 PM (GMT)
There weren't many good disney films actually. When i was younger i liked aladdin and lion king and that. These days there are few that interest me, but i reckon Ice Age, Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc are pretty cool. All the pixar ones are good. Not really 'cool' as such, Mulan's the only cool disney movie, but the others are full of good humour and sarcasm.

Whats that supposed to mean? Geez...XD
I tend to agree with kie...I like most of the pixar films...Toy Story was kickass, Finding Nemo wasnt bad...Monsters Inc was funny...Toy Story 2 was good...and then we come to the ultimate in pixar films...SHREK!!! that is the definition of kickass...plus my old physics teacher is the spitting image of Shrek...XD
So...in conclusion...the drawings suck, the cgi rules...again...XD
Bruce Lee - December 22, 2004 02:00 AM (GMT)
Yeah i forgot that Shrek was disney. Awesome movies the two Shreks.
Treya - December 23, 2004 01:32 AM (GMT)
My fave is Mulan. That movie is pretty cool. I still watch it quite often actually..hehe :D
CelestialFury - January 9, 2005 06:23 AM (GMT)
I'm a Lion King girl. Goodness I remember when that movie came out long ago... Heh. Anyway, it's my favorite cause it was the first movie I say with my dad who by which doesn't live anywhere near and I don't see so the movie holds a sentiment value to me. ^ _ ^ So that's why it's my favorite.
Treya - January 14, 2005 03:09 AM (GMT)
I love the way Mulan just soared above the rest of the movies :D
Pixar movies are pretty good too. Clearly Disney rarely makes nice movies without Pixar (Save Mulan and a few others). Actually from what I've heard Pixar came from Disney. It was a group of people that did the animation there and they left and made their own company or something like that.

Yeah...;)
BTW...Im not sure about that, but I know pixar only became part of disney because they needed the money...and now they are annoyed about it because disney are taking profits away from them...so they are trying to get out of the deal...which I think is finished either with the incredibles or the next movie they make...
Treya - January 14, 2005 05:17 AM (GMT)
(That was cold Peter)
And I can't wait till incredibles comes out on DVD. We don't go to theaters often so I must wait till the DVD comes out....WANNA SEE IT NOW!!!!!!!!
Bruce Lee - January 15, 2005 04:46 AM (GMT)
The poll changed :o
That's it *slams admin powers on desk* You're on thin ice Peter. Tread carefully.
*changes poll back*

I was just having a bit of fun is all...XD
Back on topic though...uhh...yeah...the incredibles looks cool...
Vua Rapuung - January 28, 2005 03:35 PM (GMT)
I'm Sorry but the Lion King has to be the best.
Not only does it have an all star cast featuring the vocal talents of Jeremy Irons, James Earl Jones, Rowan Atkinson and Whoopi Goldberg. It also has memorable characters a compelling plot and a soud track by none other that Elton John...
I'd like to see you find a disney film that can top all that :P
Chris
Treya - February 1, 2005 07:13 AM (GMT)
The lion king was o.k. (cousins loved that movie) I never really cared much. Of course I saw it a long time ago and haven't seen it sense like...forever.
Metal Sonic - February 19, 2005 01:54 AM (GMT)
I hate Disney and their movies. They're so...how can I say this nicely...gay. Especially Shrek. *shudder* The only movie I liked was Mulan, and that's because it wasn't dumb and pointless like the other movies.
Bill Gates - February 26, 2005 06:44 AM (GMT)
Considering a lot of you liked Mulan, I figured in this thread, aptly named "Disney Movies" would be a good place to ask how you liked the Mulan II sequel.
Wasn't too shabby..but I still liked the original. NO EDDIE MURPHY THIS TIME THOUGH T_T
Toushiro Hitsugaya - February 14, 2006 02:50 AM (GMT)
You freak! How could you forget my all-time favorite!?... haha... yeah... mine is still The Nightmare Before Christmas...
Jack Thompson - February 14, 2006 02:50 AM (GMT)
What? Come on! This topic is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the other one! Did the other one have a poll? Didn't think so. Game. Set. Match.
By the way, I forgot about Robin Hood. One of my favorite movies as a kid.
