Do you believe or think world peace will happen?

I personally think, it's not. Every country has a grudge or hates something of another country. America has some people in the Middle East hating our guts. AL Queda..all that stuff. We have anti Bush people in Turkey and other countries (i personaly don't like bush myself) North Korea too >.>

Then with war, even though someone wins..most likely..people still hate others even after the war. Or hate is created from the war.

World Peace is a bad thing, unless the Apocalypse comes first.


Simply put, I'm watching for the Antichrist to rise. Or maybe I won't get to.


Religious issues aside, it's just not human nature to get along all the time.


'Sides, war often stimulates economies and leads to scientific advancement. It's a necessary evil in the process of progress.

World peace will come after we are all dead from the fallout from WWIII.......ether that or when aliens invade ID4 style, than maybe we would stop killing eachother and kill us some aliens instead......but nither one of thoughs might happen for a while.....

world peace will never happen, period. As long as Bush is president and there are weapons, this will never happen. We start fighting one country and the next day, war breaks out.

bush isnt the problem there has been wars since we were in caves lighting fires going ATAH!! and it wont end fighting to protect is instinct so is fighting for food, power, money no one usually gives it a second thought

For world peace... 'Eh... It could... But, there's a lot of ignorant people out there. Like, those Miss America people... "I wish for world peace... *blah blah blah*"... Some are willing to, and some, just aren't. World peace many never happen in my opinion... There's just way too many view points out there, and no one will ever agree on just one thing... So, really, IF it does indeed happen... It'll be when we're long gone and dead...

It's human nature to fight and gain power, which is basically why we started the Olympics way back in the day; it was a way to fight without going to war with other countries. 'course, we're more civilized than we were back then, and the Olympics are sports now, so what are we back to? War.

I don't believe there will ever be world peace. There are too many humans in this world, and too many conflicting ideals, views, religions, policies, traditions, etc, that there is no one way to solve things and bring about an age of peace.

Good lord, I certainly do not believe there will ever be world peace. Humans just don't seem to be able to coexist without conflicts. Even if we were possibly all united for a period of time, how long would that last? Not long. It's sad but people, not all but a lot of them, want power. They want money and they want to be better than the rest of us. There will always be conflicts because not everyone likes everyone else.

I agree with the people who don't think world peace will ever happen. We thrive on diversity and disagreement. We need fighting, no matter how petty, to keep us alive, to keep us interested in life. If we had world peace, we'd all become bored out of our minds...and that's the last thing we want.

World peace is a joke, it won't happen, because of what everyoens said already. And besides, I wouldn't want world peace, it'd be just a boring world. =/

no crime if there wasnt america? or wars before america was thought of france and great britan had been in like 4 wars ;)
