Ok the reason people got .5 of a vote is because when people voted for a category where you should have paired up people, some of you picked only 1 person...so if that person was already in a couple from a previous vote, then it was added as half a vote...if they werent already in one, they were just given a whole vote...

Btw, can I make a suggestion? Next time, can the actual awards have nominations first then vote. I know it's hassle but that way, won't you be able to control who the votes. It's easier to choose among the nominees than random people on the member's list. That's what methinks at least. :o

ooh how bout New Years or Christmas time [it'll be a semi-annual thing] And I even have an idea for a few categories: Most Awesome Sig. Most awesome Avy and Most helpful Staff.

I think we should have monthly awards. It'll give us something to do and keep active on in that kind of aspect. Plus, it'll give newer members a chance to win every month, ya know? Waiting 6 months seems too long..

Also, we should have nominations first, before the awards. That should cut down on random votes for people, and like someone said before, so newbies have an idea of who to vote for. It should also cut down on ties..because that was rather not cool this time around having a gazillion ties.

Monthly awards??? thats too often imo...unless...maybe we could have like, 2 or 3 awards per month...or something...but if you dont want to do that then we have to wait longer...I say we wait for about 2-3 months before the next one...

That idea sounds like a winner. It could be like, seasonal awards. It's a good idea :P
