I noticed that as we post, our gil goes up..but there's nothing to spend the gil on. Or is there?

Is the gil just for show, or will we be able to spend it on things later on?

I assume its for the shop hack and battle hack that we'll eventually get. I'm not sure what is going on with that right now though. o.O
