Yeah I would like to know how you do that with pics...also how do you do partial transperancy? I mean like how do you make some of the pic transperant instead of just the whole lot?

Same here i need a good Ryu Avatar with The Slayer Ryu on it and a pics of an evil Ryu on my Signature too with The Slayer Ryu on it also. Can you make one for me StaTic?

I believe he 'deletes' the certain area after using the marquee tool. Well, that's what I did anyway... you can also use the lasso tool btw. Then he uses the shape tool to make borders (or I think he does).

Ok, I really seem uncertain with the stuff I just said but I'm sure from using Photoshop, that's the only logical way to do it.

as for how it's done... there are a million ways actually. ^^, just three things to remember. ^^"

• anything that will make you create the portion you want to delete.[just remember that it shouldn't be locked.]
• delete button.[there's one in your keyboard right? ^^,]
• .gif format.

as for the partial transparancy... uhmm... opacity? master opacity? ^^" dunno what you guys are talking about though. ^^"

Uhh with the partial transperency...I mean when you use opacity generally...it makes the entire pic transperant rather than a part of it...what I want to do is make part of a pic transperant...if that helps?

Try layers?


For example, when you're making a sig; get the original picture you used then crop that then use the move tool to put it to the file (the sig you're making). That'll make a new layer on the file so when you use opacity, that will be the only part that will become transparent.
