Yes, adventure games need good graphics. Without good graohics they don't seem real enough. (By bad graphics, I mean the graphics in those old DOS games.)

but nes and snes and sega and sega mdII have some of the best games ever made!? who cares for graphics so much then? all that mattered then was the gameplay and the fact that you could see who was the good guys and the bad guys... remember legend of mana?

what about DS, gameboy etc? (dont tell me you never played pokemon cause i know your all lying!!!)

but i must admit that since graphics have improved there is a push that if it doesnt push the console to it's limits than the game isnt worth it. just like how Resident evil 4 is failing on the wii cause they didnt update graphics for it...

;>_> Old classic games with bad graphics are ok because thats how games got more popular, and classic games can be fun. Gameboys and ds and so forth are ok because its just something to carry with you to battle another friend or when your bored on a airplae or bus. As for the expensive systems graphics BETTER be darm good cause people pay top cash to play a good game NOT A crappy one.
