Pros and Cons:

Pros:

• Cleaner board and a fresh new start.
• Hopefully, will have a reason and be more lively.
• Doing it all over again.
• The probability of attracting new members in the process. (Which I highly doubt, unless we offer something like free food and stuffs.)
• The Peter-less world that they claim. Though I highly doubt it will be as fun with-out him around to counter the simple joys of the members. lol.

Cons:

• Loosing some old members who occasionally gives us a visit every now and then.
• The old threads which holds some of our treasured and not so treasured memories.(Though we can occassionally visit every once in awhile.)
• It's sort of a hassle to visit 2 forums specially if you don't check it daily. So some might have to drop 1 and stayed in the other eventually.
• Starting from scratch.
• Some random personal stuffs you have. The rest are can be figured out using common sense.

I'm not entirely pro or against the idea, but it's true, with no purpose and whatsoever(aside from the occassional spam) this place looks dead. Besides, I have no idea where Vion is.

So the risky question that I'm gonna ask is, is it worth it to move to a new board or let's just let things be and wait till it all falls apart?

And if we are to move into a new and hopefully better 1, what new stuffs would you like to be featured or included or added or something there?

But then again, we're all too lazy to even care. Yeah, we're bored.

The board is dead. Nobody is going to join and make it more active because 99% of the board is inactive. It's not appealing. The only place we post anymore is in spam.

We have spam bots here regularly. Some of it is harmless, some of it disgusting X rated stuff. That's not cool.

The server error killed a lot of stuff. In old threads, our names still show up as stuff from celebrity week. And I've noticed some of the newer threads still reflect names that we just recently changed (Ben - Ben Thinks KT is Awesome, Katrak - KT!!!, etc)

And well...Invision Free obviously is neglecting our current server. They don't care to fix it, blah blah.

Some of this might not matter to you. Infact, I'm sure a few of you would be totally content on continuing to just post cat pictures in spam for the rest of AT's life. But I'd like to see a fresh start. We don't have to delete AT. There's no point in doing so, it'll always be here. If oldbies stop by, we can have in the announcements or news box a link to the new board, etc etc.

Basically everything would be the same. Just cleaner, no spam bots, and dare I say it...ACTIVITY?

Anyways, that's my input. Agree or disagree if you will.

I dont care either way to be honest...there are pros and cons to each idea...If we did move however, there would be a few things that would have to happen before I moved...

1) I lose my admin status...I dont have the time or effort to get a new place up and running, and anyway, Im surprised Im still in that position here...

2) We get back to updating the site somehow...Im sure someone can take over...

But, as it is, I dont think we're moving anyway so there's no point dicussing it...
