The graphics are wicked bad ass ^^ Including in-game, just nice and sexy like.

There seems to be a lot of different gun combinations as well.

I've picked up lots of different barrols, sights, and handles. So that makes it interesting. (I like the sniper! ^^)

I've only been playing it for about 3 hours but, it's pretty fun. It would be nice to know what's going on though. xD

For those with HDD, theres a playonline feature too! :o Of course I tried to do it, but it's all "JP ONRY" so I'll have to buy the american version. >__>

and yes, it is very nice to see the lips and the talking sync together very nicely. xD

Should gamefaqs have some guides to tell you what's what as far as gameplay stuff? ^^,

Ah, it's interesting. xD Had to change inverted controls, got lucky I guess and first options changed it. ^^

R1 to go into gun mode or something I guess. And it'll kinda auto-lock on target after you get the cursor close to it and then you just mash R1.

Pressing X does his melee combo if foes are close.

L1 firing is like his special. But you've gotta have MP I believe.

It's pretty cool. ^^ I'm impressed. I've just gotta get better at dodging missiles. :/

There's a exp system as well, but you only get the exp when you beat the level.

I accidently sold all my potions as well on one boss. I thought I was in the buy menu. >.>

I don't know if it's "Everything FF7 fans have hoped for" since story counts majorly and I haven't read translations yet.

But of course the battle system is way different as you know so it feels really different. It's not horrible or anything so far.

Well lets just hope its not a disappointment.

I think the main reason it's getting bad reviews is because it's a Shooter-RPG genre. RPG fans who don't play shooters are gonna have an awkward experience with it, and people who play FPS' and not RPG's are gonna be like, "wtf, yo?!"

And the reason Ben like's it thus far..is because he plays both, yes? And therefore Ben is uber 1337. xD (I'm guessing this is why I haven't seen you online much now..you're playing DoC aren't you?! :lol: )

I'll have it downloaded in 22 more hours...and then swap magic should be here in the next few days...

I really don't play much shooters at all, but I'm giving it a chance. =p I've actually been playing ffxi. Haven't put DoC back in yet.

Is it like Devil May Cry controls? It's looks like a DMC engine.

A little like it since it's a shooter, but not terribly like it.

Yeah it has the same elements but it just feels a little bit different.

(Of course that also might be just because vincent is bad arse!)

but aiming is different in DoC.

Left analog, move Vince around, right analog, camera.

The Reeve/Cait Sith moment early on in the game had me laughing out loud. xD

I'm on Chapter 5. I'd prolly be further, but my brother(who a couple months ago was skeptical, and believed all the crappy reviews it was given) was like, "...I wanna play o_____o" lolz. And now he's playing >_>

And Ben, L1 isn't "Fire Special Weapon" it's to use your materia you have equipped! xD

lol...into it? More like obsessed x_X That site I posted earlier has full dialogue translations, so I don't even need the english version of the game anymore.

I was roaming around the Shinra Mansion in Nibelheim early this morning (like, 2-3AM), and it was funny, 'cause I didn't even have to look at the map to know where to go xD I'm like, "Oooh, where's the coffin at...?" "omg, the vault's not here ; ;" and I don't think the creak in the floor board is there anymore ^^,,

And I just recently got through the Sector 7 Train Graveyard. Talk about spooky. I was seriously creeped out. If you look up, you can see the collapsed plate in some areas, and then the sky. And the Shinra Building...duuude. Talk about messed up. It's all like, flaming and stuff. And the electricity surprisingly still works. Sometimes it flickers, sometimes it's perfectly fine. lol

I'm on Chapter 10 now. Just got to Deep Ground. ^^

And on a somewhat related side note: Cloud, Tifa, and Barret are hilarious in Chapter 9 XD I'm still rollin' after that bit. Haha.

Well i now i cant wait til i download it.then i'll be obsessed with it just like Katie. ;)

I finished the game today. In just over 10 1/2 hours. Playing in the Chaos limit break form is extremely fun o___o
