Tonight's is pretty good so far. Good meaning full of weirdos. 'course, it IS San Francisco, California...so that's to be suspected. Haha.

WTF. I watched season 3-4. I'll probably skip this season. I liked Constantine and only Constantine. xD

It's kind of a bitch see.... House is being preempted by this show. Grrrr.

I. Hate. American. Idol. It. Is. The Worst. Show. Ever.

I have never seen it, so I cannot justly take a stance one way or the other.

The Australian one is much better, in terms of both organisation and talent.

But that like saying horse crap is better than cow crap...

with that, i dislike all versions of idol...its so terrible, nothin but randoms ruining timeless classics in the hope of wining popularity with the masses, with judges that just bitch about everything about them.... i get better enjoyment watching clouds pass by through the evening sky...

You know it. I watch it for the hilarity that ensues from people who can't sing, or show up in drag/weird-ass costumes, etc etc.

The only idol I've really ever listened to after winning was Kelly Clarkson.

Sorry, but I'm boycotting reality TV, because they took all the good game shows off (The Match Game, Press Your Luck, etc.) in order to replace them with people acting like morons for nothing more than some pocket change and fifteen minutes of fame.

Um...I think those sucked as well. xD

American Idol is awesome. People acting stupid is what makes things enjoyable.

Gameshows get really boring after a while.

Maybe it's just because I've worked with customers for so long, but people acting like normal idiots (as opposed to funny idiots) isn't entertaining, it's just annoying.

AI is kinda a testament to how much faith Americans have in themselves... which is good and BAD. Good because well have confidence that's good. BAD because it makes them look like assholes. Really sorry. I'm not saying it applies to everyone but most of them.

At this point, the show is oversaturated in the least. The drama is even predictable. xD Simon walking out... (hah, yeah I watched that ep :P) But I won't deny, there are some things that still surprise me. Like how ok is it to make yourself look like an idiot just for 2 minutes worth of screentime and have people laugh at you from every side of the world watching the show? Are people all so attention-whores?:P

I still want my House dammit so please just die AI for taking up the timeslot!!!

I only watched it to hear some classics of music...however i agree with George hear that they pretty much destroy almost every one...and the winner of Aus idol always does worse than the runner up.

That's what makes it funny for myself. People coming going "Yeah I'm the next American Idol!" And you're like "Okey dokey." And they sound horrible. xD And you're like "Yes!" Because they made such a bold statement and you wantto see them lose.
Like that smart guy with the coaster he's like "my intelligence intimidates people..." Erm okay. o_O
