A little over half way in to the college football season and i still haven't made up for my embarrasing .500 picks last year

Sooo i will pick conference winners this time around before the bowls, if i hit over .500 i'll go on to pick bowl games, if i don't i'm done with picking forever.

So here we go

ACC: i'm going to go out on a limb here and say FSU will win the atlantic division and VT will win the coastal division, but that doesn't matter. What matters is the championship game so here's my pick

ACC Championship: Virginia Tech vs Florida State

Matt's pick: Virginia Tech
Champion: Florida State



Big 12: Now, we all know i want Nebraska to win the Big 12 but i have to say, i just don't see it this year so north will go to Colorado south, Texas. Though once again this is a conference with a championship game so...

Big 12 Championship: Colorado vs Texas

Matt's pick: Texas


Big East: I thought this one would be hard to pick, now that Lousiville is in there, Rutgers and Syracuse were getting better and Pitt. and West Va. were already doing good we'd have atleast a 3 way tie but things have changed and only one team has a winning record so far.

Matt's pick: West Virginia

Big 10: This is very hard to pick, there are 5 teams still able to win this conference, all of them, VERY good teams and all of them have 1 loss, making it even harder because i know they aren't the unbeatable power house. Though i think the pre-season dark horse will win it, proving at almost 80 Joe paterno can still coach.

Matt's pick: Penn. State
Ohio State shares the title (dunno how that worked out)

Conference USA: Finaly a non-bcs conference to choose, these are always fun. Now, the whole east division has a chance to win, THE WHOLE DIVISION. but in the west it's a battle between 2. East i choose UCF West i choose Utep

CUSA Championship: Unviversity of Central Florida vs University of Texas at El Paso

Matt's pick: UTEP
University of Tulsa vs University of Central Florida
Champion: Tulsa

Mid American Conference (The CUSA whipping mule): I hate this conference. I said it i down right HATE the MAC The only good teams are usualy Miami Ohio, and Toledo they should leave to keep credibility, not only that but TEMPLE is joining :rolleyes: but this year Miami of ohio won't make it to the MAC champion ship. Because Bowling Green will win the east and Toledo, again, wins the West

Northern Illinois vs Akron
Champion: Akron

Mountain west: Well first off WHY TCU WHY DID YOU LEAVE CUSA (the BCS's little brother) ;_; anyways that said and done Utah is not undefeated anymore, and not playing very well, leaving the field open for guess who, TCU

Matt's pick: Texas Christian University

Pacific 10: The BCS that shoudln't the horrible Pac 10, only filled with about 4 credible teams, all but 1 had a chance to knock down USC and failed, and so will UCLA, though i hate to say it, even though they have the same record and UCLA is #1 in the Pac 10 (only because C comes before S)

Matt's pick: USC

South East Conference: Well i thought LSU coudln't do it but they beat 'bama Georgia keeps winning my pick is clear now

SEC Championship game: LSU vs Georgia

Matt's pick: LSU
Champion: Georgia

Sun Belt: Don't know why i try to pick this one, they are just barely good enough to be in Division 1-A and North Texas is the only team that has ever won it, but now there is a 3 way tie for the top and it's tough to pick but a 3-4 the winner is...

Matt's pick: Louisiana Monroe
Three way tie with Arkansas State and Lousisiana Lafayette ASU got hte bowl bid but Monroe still shares the title ;)

Western Atheletic Conference: Ok these 3 way ties are hell on me Fresno and Boise are usualy the winners, but now Nevada is starting to show improvement, i just don't know how to pick this but looking at the schedules and scores Boise state doesn't put up big numbers anymore, and Fresno must play AT nevada AT boise state and AT USC. Nevada on the other hand only has competition when they play on the blue turf of boise.

My statement was about how much no-one cares about college football, so it was not spam. And this post is a response to your accusation, which you felt was on topic. Therefore this post is on topic too :) I know what's spam and what's not, as i keep trying to tell some mods.
