Yup, that's right folks. The Banner Contest is back, and it's better than ever this time. This time it's gonna be a bit more challenging though(which should be a good thing), because you're going to have criteria to work with this time around, such as certain images, themes, colors, and size.

*Coloring- Must be heavenly colored! No more dark stuff. We're looking for some blues and whites. If you want a good example of the type of blue, check out the Dark Skyline skin in the skin changer.

*Theme- Angels! Heaven! Sanctuary! Keep it light and airy; mystical and faraway. We're an Angel Tide, not a Demon's Hell Hole, so keep that in mind, and keep it nice like ^^

*Size- Minimum of 500 pixels wide. Maximum of 900. The bigger the better, I say...but not too big!

*Images- Must contain at least one Angel, from wherever or whatever you choose, as long as it suits the theme. Other images are welcome to accompany the angel, but keep them in the gaming or anime catagory, and also they should try to go with the theme. The main focus should be the angel though.

*Text- Must say Angel Tide somewhere, and it should be the main text of the banner. Other text is welcome, so long as it fits the theme, as stated many times before.



- No profanity, nudity, drug references, insulting, or inappropriate content in the banner. I doubt any of you would do so, but just incase you wanna be funny, it's in the rules :P

- Five(5) entry limit

- JPG, GIF, and PNG are the only acceptable file extensions. All others will be be ignored and excluded.

Okay, so it's not that challenging...but it's better than the last time when you got to do whatever you wanted with it xD

Anywho, All submissions go directly to my PM box(I'm Katrak, just incase you need reminding xD), and you have two weeks before they are put on display. After that, voting shall commence for another week.

At a glance, we should have all entries in my PM box by September 17th, and the new banner should be chosen by September 24th.

Keep in mind that we'll be building or choosing a skin that will go with the banner that is selected, thus that's why the banner should have the blue and whites, 'cause that's what we're aiming for in the skin ^^, You'll still have the skin chooser as an option, but the banner is obviously only going to go well with the main skin.

I'm not gonna bother with making a thread in the graphics showcase, so everything just goes to me, mmkay?

If you have any questions, comments, etc, just post them here. I'll leave this thread open for the entire two weeks for that purpose.

'Tis so cool. One question though, does it have to have the whole 2 year theme? Kinda like the banner now showing AT is two years old and whatnot. Maybe not? Since the 2nd bday is over and all... but I'm just clarifying just in case.

Ok, I've sent in my one entry for the comp...if you had given me even 1 more week I might have been able to make a few more...2 would have been brilliant seeing as Im off tafe for most of the next fortnight...but as it is I can only produce 1 without rushing them...this one looks great though I think...I hope you people agree...

Well, guess what. I can't join. Hah. Too busy and sthuff and NOT FEELING CREATIVE at the moment... or forever. Not really sure. Hah. Well goodluck on the new banners. I'm going to vote for sure though.
