Wow...this took a lot more effort than I thought it would to do. The Angel Tide Awards are a long-standing tradition here at AT, and have really built up over the years. Every so often we will hold one of these, and vote on the member that best displays the characteristic of each award. However, the ATAs are also rather variable, often having awards categories that only show up once or twice before they are forgotten forever. Thusly, we have for you tonight a helluva lot of awards won by a helluva lot of members. Actually, Kie darling...as semi-explained above, these were all I found in the the Community Chat area and in the Archives. I spent about an hour going thru those and another going thru the "Find All Topics By This Member" by people likely to have hosted old awards. So I'd like to think I was as accurate as humanly possible ^-^
And yes KT, I did have a lot of time on my hands, cuz it took another two and a half hours to sort through all the categories, put them in some semblance of order, and then add all the BB code. But wee! It happened! So yeah...whoever says boredom dosen't pay can meet me and Mr. Aluminum Baseball Bat in the back room for a lil bit ^_^

No...they were :) Cause why would we have big gaps? Some pruning was done a while back as well. Some were left as archives, some deleted...maybe we'll never get them.

I know we have such big gaps because at one point we decided the awards should be a bi-yearly thing (summer and winter), but you're right in that there was a time leading up to that where we had seasonal ones (like every three months). However, either they were posted with no mention of awards in the title or description (possible, especially since I'm not going through every single thread and only the ones most likely to be awards-related), or they were deleted as you said (also possible).
Perhaps for future awards I or someone else may keep copies of the results on file on the ol' compy? That way we could do this every four or five awards shows or whatever and actually have a more accurate mega-result. I think I'll do that, actually (starting next awards, of course, since the most recent one was factored in in this).

Well, we could always put a special section in the archives for awards. How's that sound? Then we'll never lose them, and they'll never get accidentally deleted.

I made the archives visible to members recently. For some reason, it was only visible to staff, which didn't make sense to me...so uhh..yeah, then anybody'd be able to see the old awards and other stuff.
