Strange how there is no thread on this movie yet...
Anyone see it? I came out of the thearter exactly as I came in : excited, amazed and hyped up. The movie was the best comic book adaptation so far since the movie was nearly made page for page from the comics.
The acting was amazing with a few exceptions (Michael Madsen really didn't convince me..)
Any thoughts?

The plot was iffy but I really loved how stylistically it was shot. There is no way in hell Alexis Bladel should've played a hooker. None. I suppose she was supposed to give off the young squeeler vibe but all it did was distract me with the fact that she shouldn't be there and it was an attack on all that was logical in the universe. Loved the action. Found Elijah Wood as a canibal to be too creepily fitting. Liked the table dancing by lovely Ms. Jessica Alba (mrrrow). Over all, I found it to be really enjoyable. I do see how people who don't care for gory movies would be less than dazzled though. I'm pretty glad they're going to be shooting a sequel ^ ^.

I loved the movie, it was the best I've seen in a while, and that says a lot.

I had the same feeling! Alexis Bledel was just off!
The rest of the characters, however, were awesome and right for their parts. Haha@Josh Hartnett. He was kinda lame. He had like 2 minutes in the whole movie. I didn't like Jessica Alba though her role sort of fits her. whooooooore. xD
Definitely want to see the sequel.

I think it was supposed to be that way since you had seen her messed the whole plan thing up[right? I haven't seen this movie in awhile @_@], and yousee her call her mom. So she's like a mama's girl. o_O
There's a sequel?
I'm not that much into gore...I think too much is just exaggerating and is un needed, but I don't go "ewww!" Just like "Um...That much blood is not needed. o_O" Besides that, I liked how all the stories had fit together and stuff. ^_^

I know that's what they're trying for, but I'm terribly sorry....Alexis Bladel just shouldn't be a hooker. She's too pure and chaste to sell herself on the streets. Even how she talks is all wrong...she's just not a hooker. There is not an ounce of whore in all her body. It's like casting the Virgin Mary in that role...all it ends up doing is having the audience members screaming in their heads "WHAAAA??? UP IS DOWN, LEFT IS RIGHT, THE UNIVERSE MAKES NO SENSE!!"
...um...but yeah...other than that...awesome. I think I might wanna go rent it and see it again (assuming I'll have time left after all the freakin homework I have >.<)
