i used to play, but i just can't be stuffed anymore, since my guild got disbanded its no longer any fun, so i have quit

I know I had this joint guild with my friend irl. He was so power hungry,so much that he wouldn't share any of the powers and wouldn't let me add members. om=ne day i got feed up with it, so he disabled my guild chat and kicked me to boot! we werent friends for like 3 months. Or so. But now im in a big guild. And it makes all the difference.
For a while I didnt enjoy WoW, but now I do.

I play too! =)
I've been sharing an account with a friend and haven't been playing long, but I have a lvl 20 Warrior in Cenarion Circle, Laynna.. yah, it's a girl and I get flirted with but it gives me a good excuse to get in fights :P
I would message you in game, but you didn't mention what realm your in.

When I came back from Thanksgiving Break last year I was feeling depressed so my friends and I all went to the Crossgates Mall in Albany and bought World of Warcraft. They played at a moderate pace. I played every waking moment, skipped classes, woke up early, stayed up late, the works. I hit level 60 before my free month trial ended. Sold my character and my 900 gold. Haven't played since. My friends have quit playing more recently. It got boring the second I hit level 60. Some people can enjoy it by going after items and whatnot but I guess I'm not as easily entertained.

Have it, haven't played it yet. >.> I played the Beta, not that bad of a game, one of those games that you play when FFXI has maintence I think.

Everybody at my school got FFXI freshman year. I wanted to join in and buy it, but by the time I was getting around to it everybody was already bored of the game. Nobody I knew really liked it after the first month or two. World of Warcraft came out Thanksgiving of last year, we all got that, and it lasted much longer (just not for me because I hit 60 and quit the first month.) The last of them stopped playing the game this past summer when we started giving them a hard time about it.

Just a matter of opinion I guess =p
I like taking my time with a long game like XI (As much as I play it >.>)
My friend plays WoW, he got to level 60 and mastered all this stuff in like 3 months. That's a bit short for my taste, I want something that'll last longer.

I'm convinced that you could write a bot capable of getting to level 60 on its own in these MMORPG games. In many ways I was more "successful" than anyone else I know of in World of Warcraft, and all I had to invest was time and not waste money. Realistically, there is very little skill involved. This is sure to enrage many of the players who have levelled their characters up and like to take it as a sign of their "leetness" or whatever the hell, but as somebody who completed this task very efficiently, I can say that it means nothing. That's not to say that it isn't a good game. It did exactly what I hoped it would do: kept me from thinking about anything unrelated to warcraft for a full month.

MMmm first post in a long, long time... Anyways! I am a WoW addict to be honest. I have a few level 60 characters now spread over different servers. The only character I have been using lately though is on Gurubashi (sp?) seeing as my friends and I have a guild on it. I've been leveling my level 49 (currently) Night Elf Hunter. I'm also relatively active on Zul'jin with my level 60 Undead Warrior.
Main Character though:
Psyva
Night Elf Hunter (lvl 49)
Server - Gurubashi (sp?)
If you're on my server, come play with me sometime ;D.

I have a couple characters on Zul'jin.. not Horde though, and they're only like lvl 6 and 7. Anyways, if you want to wait for me online to set up a raid just to hunt me down and kill me, they'd be Trenna and Zhanrai.. both Night Elves still on the island.

Have it, love it, etc. Alliance on Nathrezim
Gnome Rogue 57
NE Druid 46
Dwarf Palidan 32
NE Warrior 45
49 Human Priest
47 Human Mage
Yes, I am an addict, but not the the point that I have a 60... I like variaty =D
Personally, I didn't like FFXI... the game play was weak and there was a point when they only way you could lvl for awhile was in a group...and I could never get in one... soooo WoW for me!
And as for the Guild, find a lvl 60 addict bent on helping anything tangible and join his Guild....hey it worked for me :ph43r:
