This is an announcement about the awards!!!

Im going to take some steps to make sure the next awards go alot smoother...I think everyone will agree that these awards were a complete shambolics and therefore we need to sort it out...

The following are rules that SHALL BE PUT IN PLACE!!! These will be adhered to or else the awards will be shut down...dont worry, Ill pin this in a thread in the announcements forum so that no one forgets...

-=RULES=-

1. Awards will be held three months from the current ones...the next date will be around October 10 2005...

2. There will be TWO organizers...they will be chosen by myself (because Im admin), and they will be chosen on their activity levels, organization and their perfomance in the results...If a chosen member refuses this opportunity, then I shall take over...if both refuse, then 1 more shall be chosen, along with me...

3. There will be a limit of 20 awards categories...they will be chosen differently to the normal method...each member will input 5...the top 20 will then be chosen from these suggestions...once these have been chosen, there will be NO changes...

4. Members will then have 2 weeks to complete voting...as soon as the 2 weeks are up, the results WILL BE POSTED BY ME...if I am not organizing the awards, the chosen members must send me a copy of the results so I can post them BEFORE THE DEADLINE, unless there are extreme circumstances...this ensures no waiting...

5. When voting, you cannot pick yourself...and you can leave a MAXIMUM of 3 awards un-voted...if either of these rules are broken, your votes will need to be re-entered or they will be disqualified...

6. In the event of a tie, the three organizers will re-vote...the majority vote will be then classed as the winner...if there is no majority, the result will then be called a tie...this will hopefully reduce the occurence of ties...

7. Finally, the results thread will be pinned for a period of a week after they have been posted...this allows everyone to see them...if they are active enough...

Talk about a dictatorship in awards.

The ppl to do the awards should also be chosen by how much they actually like the awards, as well as the stuff you mentioned.

As for the results being posted by you...why? Just cause shaydah made a couple of errors, it didn't really affect the awards anyway.

Btw, a lot of these aren't rules, as such. They're you telling us what's gonna happen for the next awards :) What is this all in the aid of anyway?

Sounds...organized. Hmm, will I be an organizer? I'm telling you now: no. I'm not active enough for it.

Well considering the last few awards havent exactly run smoothely...I decided that we need some, ok lets call them guidelines...they ensure the awards are more enjoyable and efficient...

The first point will be taken into consideration as well...If you dont like the awards, you dont have to become an organizer, simple as that...

And with the bit about me posting the awards...it is more a way of making sure they get up on time...quite frankly, Im sick and tired of people saying that the voting ends on this day, and then 2 weeks after that day they are still not up...whether or not I do indeed do the posting, the results will be up ON TIME from now on...

And fair enough, you have every right to voice your opinion...everyone does...so obviously I wont take offense...

Oh by all means take over the posting of awards, i'm not complaining, i was just wondering why you were. Good to see Shay being less of the god she claims to be :P
