OOC: *slaps Frenzy with a glove* Bring it, bizzitch. XD

IC: The jungle was alive with the sound of countless animals. Birds chirruping, lizards hissing and many more, all communicating with each other from one end of the jungle to the other. Steam rose up, blocking the view of the tree tops. On one of these trees, there was a slight disturbance. A shimmer moved from one end of the branch to another. Finally, there was a barely audible humming noise as a huge, human-like being suddenly seemed to materialise out of thin air. He looked down at the forest floor, switching between his infra-red and Predator visions. There was no need for using his Electro vision here, as there have been no Xenomorphs or other very similar alien life forms detected. Bakuub made a quiet clicking noise as he scanned the area around him, still changing between his different visions. He had been tracking down his prey for some time now, and he knew that here would be where it would make its stand. It was an ideal place afterall. Plenty of cover in the forms of moss covered rocks, fallen trees, bushes. Any sniper's dream battle arena.

Bakuub leaped down from his vantage point and set off again in search of this Nova. It was about ten minutes later when he heard a noise from behind him. Immediately knowing that it was his target, he swiftly pressed a few buttons on his wrist gauntlet to activate his cloaking suit. As the generator bent light around Bakuub, he let out a long snarl. Now invisible to the naked eye, Bakuub leaped up again onto an overhanging branch.

He crouched down on it, balancing himself with his hand pressed against the broad trunk. He leaned forward, peering through the foliage that provided additional cover in case his opponent was able to see through his "invisibility". It seemed his opponent was one Hunt worthy of his time afterall. Maybe this Nova would give him the challenge he has been seeking on this planet. He would gain great honour in killing this human. Bakuub shifted his possition slightly to gain better footing and balance and then waited silently for his prey...

OOC: Eh, nothing great but oh well. ;)

OOC: Okay Padman here I come!

IC:
The ships AI used his low manly voice to notify Nova of the latest developments concerning their space trip.
AI: “Were now dropping out of warp ma’am.”
Nova: “Jeez I told not to use that voice pattern any more. Anyways are we at Delta prime already?”
AI: “No ma’am I detected a K class planet with a level H live form on it in a TUD situation.”
Nova: “Okay now in English.”
AI: “There is an other iteration ship in orbit, it seems that it’s only crew member has beamed down to the planet and now being followed by a possibly hostile life form you are to beam down to the planet help out the other iteration member and get back before dinner, cause I made my specialty: wires with plasma sause!”
Nova looked cheerful and said:
“Why didn’t you say so in the first place? Get me my gun. Ow and order Chinese.”
AI: “Level K planets allow B level equipment, I advice the use of the customised C-20a canister rifle. Also why don’t you ever appreciate my cooking? Am I not good enough?”
Nova: “Actually, no.”
Nova walked to the armoury and took her C-20a and walked to the transporter and said:
“Okay Scotty energize.”
There was a long silence and then the ships AI replied:
“Ow you mean me?”
Then she was beamed down to the planet. The AI now felt lonely and started playing pong with the AI of the other iteration ship.

Nova’s transport was successful and as she looked around she saw she was in the middle of a jungle. She checked her scanners and saw that there weren’t any signs of civilization near her location.
Nova: “So let’s find this whatever it is fast.”
Nova walked into the foliage and activated her scanners in search of her enemy, it didn’t take long before she had found the other iteration member on her scanners with the alien following him.

Nova took her rifle and sneaked closer without making a single sound and soon saw from the energy readings of her scanners the spot where her enemy had taken place.
At that moment the other iteration members beamed up and it was now Nova vs. the alien. Nova wondered what it’s combat capability’s would be and took aim at the source of the energy readings.
Then she fired a round of gauss ammo straight at it and could no more then hope it would hit.

IC: Bakuub snarled as he saw that the one he was tracking wasn't Nova. But he wasn't angry, for he knew she'd be around here. The person he was tracking was beamed up by some teleportation device. Bakuub growled lowly and turned around. He leaned to the side swiftly as a round narrowly missed him, smashing through the trunk, showering him in splinters. De-activating his cloaking, he withdrew the Naginata and brandished it ferociously in one hand, roaring loudly. "Fool! This earth shall be stained with your blood!" he roared in the language of his kind.

He pointed his free arm towards his opponent and his plasma caster came into view. It rotated a little on his forearm as Bakuub locked onto his opponent, using his three-dotted laser sight, aimed for his opponent's torso. He fired off two shots, both of which would hit if his opponent didn't move. But obviously his opponent was going to move. This Nova was a lot smarted than any foe he had encountered before, and this would be his greatest kill. Whether he comes out of this fray alive or not is a whole other matter...

As soon as he fired the second shot, he leaped down from the tree branch and sprinted towards his opponent in a zig-zag motion to reduce the risk of being shot while closing the distance to his opponent in seconds. If he got close enough to his opponent, he would strike her down with his spear and then finish her off. If not, which seemed more likely, then he would leap up in the air, bringing out his Smart Disc and launching it at his opponent with frightening speed. Whether it hits or not, it would come back to Bakuub's hand and he would stash it away for the time being and come down upon his opponent, attempting to skewer her with his spear.

her opponent was trying to shoot him with a weapon Nova only knew from the Predator movies, well he basicly looked liek the predator from the movies. Nova HATED rippoffs, but the laser sight was enough reson to let her self fall from the tree, her bondwatch firing a cable which would be used to lower her the last few feet to prevent serious injury.

Nova noticed her opponent runnign to wards her and made a hologram with some new gizmo her ship had cooked up, and ran away to a new covering position while she noticed her opponent skewer the illusion with his spear like weapon, he wouldnt be fallign for that trick again Nova thought while stashing it in one of her suits many pockets. but it was a usefull trick none the less...

Nova took aim again at her opponent with her rifle and while taking a moment to makesure her aim was true, and firing and while firing her ship's ai felt it was urgent to inform her that hje was "|=|234|<!|\|9 1337" in pong and was "()\/\/|\|!|\|9" the other ship's AI, Ooh and he was still mad at her... Well needless to dsay this interuption fucked up her chi enough to make her miss quiet spectacularly blowing a tree branch of somewhere above her opponents head which might just hit him if he wasnt beeing carefull.

Nova ran away shooting a line at a tree and swinging up into a nereby tree, where she took aim and waited for here opponent to show his face again.

Nova had moved when Bakuub launched his Smart Disc at her, though she seemed unaware that she unwittingly dodged it. It came back to Bakuub's hand and he put it back in his belt. He continued his descent down upon his opponent, thrusting his spear in front of him. However, instead of piercing flesh, Bakuub felt no resistance what so ever, as it merely passed through thin air. An illusion.

Bakuub was surprised at his opponent's rather sly trick. Nova had created an illusion of herself, which, if Bakuub had taken more time to look at, wouldn't have tricked Bakuub. From somewhere to his side, his opponent fired another shot at him, but some interference fucked up her aim and missed him by a god meter or so. But still, she did shoot down a branch, which would have fallen upon Bakuub if he hadn't taken a couple of steps backwards after looking up to see her opponent's shot smash into the large branch. Nova only succeeded in yet again showering Bakuub with peices of wood, reduced to no more than matchsticks. He turned swiftly to where his opponent was and glimpsed her swinging up onto a tree for cover and wait. It seemed this battle was going to be a test of patience, as well as skill. Very much like a chess game. Bakuub was going to enjoy this fight very much... The Hunt had begun.

He twirled his spear around and then held it by his side, loosely while, with the other hand, brought out his spear gun. This weapon can be used much swifter than his Plasma Caster, though it deals less damage. Yet, it would be a good weapon to use for the time being. He started walking slowly, crouching down and using the bushes for cover.

He waited awhile, planning on maybe luring his opponent into putting down her guard, at least for a second. A few minutes passed by in total silence. Even the sound of the creatures dwelling in the forest had gone silent. Bakuub decided it was time to attack. He didn't want to chance that his opponent may have lowered her weapon, so he'd have to be very quick. Rolling across the opening his opponent had run through, Bakuub swiftly aimed with his spear gun and fired two shots at her. Her shot had come just before his, but she missed. The round thudded into the mud, right where Bakuub had been less than a second before.

Bakuub then launched himself forward towards his opponent, covering the distance from him to his opponent in seconds, not giving her a chance to shoot at him. As soon as he got beneath his opponent, he leaped up, making a 180 degree spin and aiming a stab at Nova's back with his spear. If she moved, he'd fire another five shots with his spear gun at her. While he did, he'd pull himself up onto his opponent's former vantage point and hold his spear gun at the ready, also making use of his plasma caster, ready to fire at his opponent the moment she shows up.

Her opponent was smart, and fast enough to dodge bullets and he was coming here, Nova quickly improveised a trap involing an APC and the small charge from her watch, the explosive wouldnt do alot of damage but the apc exploding well that should be enough to vaporise most of the tree she was hiding in...

Nova swung to another tree while her opponent was goming to her, and when she was out of the blast radious she donated the charage but not before she got hit in the back with what felt like 2 sharp points, another one hit the line she was slinging on but it held long enough to get to the other side, where she hid behind a tree, hearing two sharp impacting sounds coming from the tree's other side. she grabbed behind he back and pulled the dart out. Yeah thats a preadtor dart she remembered it clearly from the second movie, which sucked by the way as far as she was concerned.

By now the APC was exploding and the whole tree nova was hidign in shook from the blast and nova had tro be very carefull to avoid falling out. Which wasnt as easy as it sounded with her injured shoulder hurting quite alot luckily she had just the thing for that and she sprayed some "synthflesh" over it which stopped the bleeding and eased the pain enought o make the arm functional again she'd need patching up though...

in the confusion of the blast she climbed higher in the tree so she'd have more time to move around, the tree had very think branches and she could easily walk on the thinkest of them and she came to a crown in the tom where 4 of these branches went the otherway creating a platform some 50 meters above the ground, she watched through her scope while waiting for her opponent to show his ugly ass head SO SHE COULD BLOW IT OFF!!!

Just as Bakuub fired off the shots from his spear gun, he noticed the explosive his opponent had left when she made her escape. On instinct, he leaped up to the side, towards another tree, which just happened to be right next to the one his opponent was climbing. The blast threw Bakuub up higher than he had intended, but he had escaped harm. Only very minor burns on his equipment. But they were still far from being put out of use. As Bakuub flew towards the tree, he swung his spear and stabbed it into the trunk to stop him from crashing through the trees. He slung his rail gun back on his back and activated his cloaking suit. His opponent would get a rough idea of where he was, as already shown when the battle started, but Bakuub was sure it'd now be difficult for his opponent to get an exact location due to the confusion from the explosion. He moved swiftly, applying extra weight to his spear to tug it free from the tree trunk. He dropped down and landed nimbly on a branch below and he immediately leaped from that to above where his opponent was while she was climbing up.

Hopefully Nova would be too preoccupied in finding a suitable spot to make another attempt at "camping" to notice that Bakuub was above her. He hefted the Naginata lightly like a javelin and threw it down at Nova with all his strength. The spear remained invisible as it smashed through small branches and twigs at an alarming speed, straight and true towards his opponent. If Nova luckilly manages to get out of the way, the spear would thud into the branch she was on and remain there. Electricity would spark around it as the cloaking wears away from the weapon. If her opponent does get out of the way, Bakuub would dive down, head first at his opponent while she was shifting her possition, bringing out his acid-resistant claws and attempt to slash at her face. If she escaped that, he'd use the claws to stop his fall and swing himself back up onto the branch to retrieve his spear and then leap away to another tree. As he dove down, he de-activated his cloaking at the last second.

Now, as he leaped away, he concealed himself amongst the leaves and branches of the tree to await his opponent's next move.

Hmmm her opponent was resorcefull, using a spear to cousen his accent, Nova didnt like that trick so she decided to end it rather simply, by putting a round in his head, switching to HE ammo she shot a round at her opponent, however now she noticed somethign was bashing the branshes aside, and whatever it was it wasnt friendly, so nova took aim and shot around at the thing, which detonated sending the spear spiralling down to the forest floor.

Nova fired another round of at her opponent which seemed to be jumping upwardswhile cloaked, which was a smart move but he was bashing branches aside and so Nova could still see where he was, so the advantga normally offered by beeing invisible was negated, Nova quickly took 2 more shots, before jumping to another tree, making a very prince of persia move when she reched a branch and swung herself upwards with her momentum before landing on a nere by tree branch offering a clear view of where she had last seen her oppoment moving.

Bakuub snarled in anger. First his opponent had managed to deflect his spear from impaling her. Now, as he leaped, Nova fired two shots at him. One nicked his shoulder, taking out a small chunk of his flesh. The other shot riccoheted off his armour. If it had been a direct hit, no doubt it would have pierced the armour. It did leave a long, black line where the round had hit, but that was nothing. Bakuub landed and rolled into cover in the same action. His opponent was now waiting again. No doubt she had a fix on where he had landed, so he was pretty much stuck. Well, at least any human would truly be stuck in such a predicament. Bakuub waited a while in complete silence. Then he withdrew his Smart Disc again. He threw it and it flew through the trees, creating a lot of rustling as it cut through twigs and branches. But he threw it low, so his opponent would only see the disturbance in the trees. This action was to merely cause a distraction while he activated his cloaking suit and moved off in the opposide direction to his Smart Disc, without making a noise.

Silently, he circled around his opponent. His claws were still ready for use, so he needn't worry about the noise made when withdrawing them. Taking care not to make the slightest noise, he closed in on his opponent. When he was much closer, he stopped and waited a second, judging the timing it would take for his Smart Disc to return to his hand. He then leaped up towards his opponent, making very little noise. He'd swing his arm, using his claws in an attempt to tear his opponent in two. The Smart Disc would also come through Nova and to Bakuub's hand. If Nova moved out of the way, Bakuub would simply catch his Smart Disc and throw it at her again and move off to retrieve his spear. Then he would leap up onto a tree and then on to another, and another.

He would then quietly move from that tree and on to another, barely disturbing the branches. He would now wait for his opponent to follow. As he waited, he brought out his spear gun. As soon as his opponent showed herself, he'd fire at her. Two shots, with a second between each one, followed by three shots from his plasma caster, which would destroy anything that gets hit. After firing, he'd move away to a different location and await his opponent there, if she survives...

OOC i could swear i switched to HIGH EXPLOSIVE ammo but i'll recheck to make sure... and suprise i did (HE is general short hand for it)

Her opponent had proven remarkebly resilliant getting hit by a High Exlosive round, and even though it failed to explode, was still up and about. Well Nova oped the round would explode at a later date but right now she had better things to worry about, like getting the fuck out of here this wasnt a good place, with her opponent on the move again, Nova quickly decided that if she wanted to win this battle she ould need every advantage she could make up.

And she walked back to the thick tree and slung her rifle over her back before drawing her secondary weapons, the 2 Mjollnir Mk 4's, named after Thor's hammer for the sound they made when fired unsilenced, loading one with Shock Shells and the other with AP rounds, so with her back standing to the tree Nova did somethign she had never done before, she stould her ground screw discretion beeing the better part of Valour Right now it was time to show that ALIEN SCUM BAG what the fuck happened when u fucked with the Technocracy!

When Her opponent finally broke the leaves she saw it was indeed one of the predators, and she started blazing away at him, she wasnt really skilled at firing 2 weapons at the same time but in her "off hand" she had the Shock Shells loaded one which didnt have to hit right between the eyes, so that wasnt a real problem, Nova saw one fof those darts land in th tree next to her and she felt like she had been smacked in the gut with a baseball bat when the second one made skin contact and she saw that the predators signature weapon was powering up, not good not good AT ALL! While still balzing away Nova tried to send a spike of current to the blasting cap of the round which was still imbedded in her opponents shoulder if she could just get that round to explode she might still win this!

OOC if one of those schockers hit it will cause a magnetic field for a moment which will be more then sufficient in magnetude to cause magentic induction which will without doubt (99% sure) blow up the round.
