It is a cold chilly night, and not a thing can be seen due to the fog that is out. There are rubble and half standing buildings all around the area. Inside one of the buildings is a bright flash, and then another.
Kaine bounces around the building like a cat in his own home. A demon is attempting to kill this man, but is having no such luck. Kaine, with little to no effort, leaps behind the demon, and lops its head of in one fall swoop. The demon's body hits the ground, and instantly turns to dust, and is blown away.
Kaine sheeths his sword, and walks out of the almost there door.
"I am making progress..."
He then walks into an endless abyss of fog, and searches for another enemy.
Nova had arived in orbit yet again, she had no clue what had happened sinse she left for her latest series of adventures, or how mutch time had passed on this world... she could ask quest to figure it out for her but she decided not to this was half the fun of coming home, tanking out her tool belt she checked the "fuel" she had in the apc's as 2 of m were nearly emty she put them in a recharger and grabbed 2 new ones before turing on the IMPALA and beaiming down to the surface. Her ship would remain undetcted, and she would be free to explore the world she still loved... She had beamed down into a bar she knew in Tokio, as she had decided she could use a drink or 2, while the people in the bar were unenlightnend the true partons were the Technocracy, if she ordered the usual here, they would know she had arived, if the SENTINELs hadnt allready picked her ship up, Beeming down into a storage room where no1 ever was, she went through a hole in the wall and from there into the ladies room, srom where she went into the main building, It seemed to be a bit less crouded then she rembered it, well really the only people there were some people from the NWO and 2 Progenitors, who she greated warmly, They looked very concerned as if someone had fucked up badly, REALLY badly, It appeared some progenitor pets had broken loose and had been terrorising the Unenlightned population, Luckily the NWO had managed to keep a lid on it by pulling a "the end of the world as we know it" while the progenitors and the ITX were working on a solution... which wasnt really working. They had tried sending the HIT marks after them but they seemed to be less then optimally effective. After some more debate on how they were going to clear this mess u Nova told them she would be doing some field work, and would see if she could secure a sample a very thouroghly dead one. The NWO told her that the static reality was fucked up enough so she could use her C-20a, which was generaly known as her weapon of choice, without to mutch violations...
She got it beamed down to her location before turning her ECA to AP and venturing into the fog, her advanced targetttign sights emidiatly picking up a mortal who appeared to be using an old fasioned sword with some skill...
Nova walked over and greeted the fellow warrior.
