Treya sat in a clearing. She heard a noise and looked behind her. She saw nothing, but a strange presence was in the air.

Ignoring it she fell asleep. However, she was awakened by someone. A large group of men were around her. A large an hideous man stood above her. She realized she was tied. She was still drained from her ordeal the night before. As she struggled with the ropes, she realized they were only cutting into her wrists.

"What do you want with me?" it was said as though she was demanding an answer.

"One would think you would know about a bounty placed on your head. I'd much rather kill you, but unfortunately you are wanted alive."

She thought to herself and grinned a bit, "lets hope I have enough reserved to defend myself."

Recca had stayed in the Yamiko village that night instead of the shadows. Not really thinking about hwta has happend he decided to leave after getting something to eat hwoever.. Once he was about to exit hsi room he was stopped by a figure holding a styche.

"Hello brother.."

Kaz just stood there arched againsat the door.

"What do you want Kaz?"

"Nothing but I see your alive looks like that woman was too weak to carr out my task."

"I don't usually take kindly to these plots against me."

"What do you plan to do now?"

"Nothing.."

Recca jumped out of the Inn window into the streets and ran off.

"I see you boys really want to die don't you."

"Please woman, I know all about your plight yesterday. You are weak and barely a challenge for me."

"You really think so?" She slipped a knife behind her back and cut the ropes. As the man drew nearer she jumped up and stabbed his leg with it.

He screamed in pain. All the mean rushed at her with club and fist. Ready and waiting she stood with her swords. While they attacked she managed to keep most of them away but she was losing strength with each blow she took.

Recca had left the village gates back into the outside world. He wasn't to happy about seeing his kid brother after what he had put him through.

Suddenly Gatenmaru started reacting.

"Recca somethings wrong..."

"What is it?"

"I'm not sure but something isn't right in the balacne."

"Whatever.."

Recca contuinted to travel.

"I warned you all. I'll have to kill you now," fire formed around her from her charged attack. The men around her scattered in horror.

"Huh, wimps." She breathed heavily, "this is getting irritating." The last of the men were out of sight so she decided it'd be best if she didn't stay in the same spot. Climbing onto her horse she rode off. Her other horse followed at a distance, playing and stopping from time to time.

A cold wind blew that day. Treya felt something stirring. "Winds like this don't blow often in the middle of June." She wondered at this as she made her way through the forest.

Recca contuiend his walk down the horizon, the sudden change of wind raised an eyebrow as he walked further down the path into a forest.

"Recca I told you something was wrong.."

"One more word and I'm going to the Leaf village to get you exorised out of me.."

"That isn't possible I'm the legendary four souled dragon demon...."

Recca entered the forest, after 5 mintiues of walking through we was ambushed by a group of men.

"Recca Hanabishi, looks like we've fiannly found you."

Recca noticed a tatoo on one of the men.

"Y-your with the Chunjoo!!!"

Recca drew both of his katana at once. "You boys ready to rock.."

He swung them both immedialty

"Dragon God decapitation strike!!!"

Treya heard a noise coming from close by. Leaving her horses she slowly made her way to find out what it was. She saw someone being attacked. A familiar presence seemed to meet her. "That's...odd." As she came closer she finally realized who it was.

"I thought you'd be long gone by now."

Recca's attack decapitated 3 of the men, but the other 6 managed to escape with a few scracthes.

As Recca turned to look at Treya his heart skipped a beat.

"It's you, what are you doing here?"

"I knew you liked her Recca."

"Shut up Gatenmaru!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I felt something. I don't know what it is, but I'm searching to find out." She watched the scattered men. "Having fun?"

Recca resheathed his katana's, and walked closer to her. "Well these men were part of the shadow killer clan, that murdered my master. From the looks of there apparel their from the sound village."

Recca kicked one of the dead men.

"Perhaps what your looking for is there too... Perhaps you'd like to join me. Sound village is only 2-3 days from this region of course well have to cross the strait to get to the Fujin contineint."

"Sounds fine to me. A bit far for walking. I left my horses away from here so they wouldn't get caught in a battle."

She left and quickly returned with them, "do you ride, or would you prefer walking?"

Recca thoguht about it for a second.

"I prefer walking, but I'll ride for now, It'll give me time to replinish my charka."

Recca hoped on one of the horses qucikly.

"To the east!!!"

Gatenmaru spoke through Recca.

"Lets go on a killing spree!!!!"

"Remind me to get him excorised when we get there..."

"O.k. if you insist," she laughed. With a more quiet tone she added, "I haven't laughed for so long," she looked away, "I suppose we should move quickly."

She turned her horse to the chosen trail.

"So what is the deal with you and Kaz anyway?"

Recca arched back a bit and yawned.

"I guess I can tell you a bit about my past..............."

"Kaz and I have never been a close nit family. Especially since I have little memory of our parents, and Kaz has none. A few years ago Kaz learned that I was chosen to hold Gatenmaru rather than him. And with that he tried to kill me and extract Gatenmaru from my body. This little stunt got us kicked out of the Hokage village, and since then he's been tormenting me."

Recca chuckled somewhat.

"And what about you?"

"Its a bit long, but I dont mind telling. When I acquired that thing inside of me I gained its power. My little brother, he acquired some too. He wasn't really strong enough to withstand it. He was driven insane and sought to concur and destroy. There was no other choice. I...killed him. I've killed alot of people. Few have been destroyed purposefully. I must thank you for freeing me from it. My past is dark and not really the happiest of tales."

Recca had a bit of sympathy for Treya. He had gotten to no her so well and they hadn't even known eachother a full 24 hours.

"Hopefully I'll find the one that killed my master, and silence the Chunjoo forever.. But I've been searching for 5 years my journey seems to be coming to an end."

Recca looked up at the darkening sky.

"It's getting dark and we've gotten very close to the Lutgholen desert. It's to cold at night we shuold stop here till morning."

"Very well. We should find a place out of the way." She halted her horse and surveyed the area.

Recca hoped off the horse, and led them to an area near some tree's.

"This outta work just fine I've stayed out here before..."

Recca shot a bit of fire onto the ground, and controlled it so it wouldn't spread. He sat back against a tree and did nothing more.

"Your not used to sleeping outside are you?"

"Actually, I am. I travel alot. It's hard for me to stay in one place too long. I don't know why." She prepared herself a place to sleep and drifted off.

Recca sighed a bit staring at her as he lay there. He stood up for a second to do something but Gatenmaru stopped him.

"Recca don't you dare!!!!"

"What?"

"I'll never understand why mortals can't control their own lust.."

"Oh what do you know, your just a spirit."

"I understand how you feel Recca however... I can't allow you to do anything just yet.."

Recca sat back down, and closed his eyes trying to sleep, while arguing with Gatenamru

She awoke early the next day and found Recca still sleeping. She quietly slipped away and re-saddled the horses.

"You told him."

"That part of my life is over with. I'm over it o.k."

"Of course you are."

"Why are you still with me? I thought you were just supposed to protect the gaurdian. I have defiled it."

"We have decided to stay with you. Really, it does not bother us."

"Thank you. I hope you don't mind being ridden."

"If we did we would have bucked you both off by now."

"Ha, of course."

Recca awoke late the next morning. Gatenmaru was still goign on and on about how he shuoldn't get involded with Treya. But at this point he was blocking him out.

"Stupid feelings.."

Recca stayed acrhed against the tree waiting for Treya to return.
