Recca was restless inside of his shadows, a bit of fresh air would do him good. He entered the outside world into a dense forest that was snow covered.

He sat on a tree branch pondering about finding the Chunjoo, but at this point he was bored.

"So little to do so much time..."

A lone rider strode upon a grassy plain, "I'm so bored right now. Hm?" she noticed someone up ahead lounging in a tree, "I wonder what they are doing here. I wonder if he'd like to play" she laughed at herself. She cantered her horse over to where he was.

"Hello, my name is Theonari. Might I ask who you are? I'm kinda bored and don't really have anywhere to be right now. I'm going to just flat out say it, I'm looking for a fight because I'm bored. Are you interested? Excuse my strait-forward-ness."

Recca frowned at this newcomer slightly, but was intrested all the same. He sunk into the shadows and appeatred not less than 4 inches away from her.

"Yeah I think a small skirmish would do me good.."

Recca then began to chuckle childsihly. But was still very serious. He raised his fist as it began to emit fire.

(Sorry about the lame beginning. Couldn't really think of anything else due to the type of person she is and all.)

"Terriffic, hopefully this will cure my boredom for the time being," she saw his hands erupt in flames, "a fire manipulater...nice." She pulled out her sword and held it with both hands. Lets see what you can do then."

"Don't except this to be easy.."

Recca lost his smile, then made a clockwise spin jump upward, and shot a fire ball at Theonari's chest.

She smirked slightly, "oh, don't worry. I won't." She pulled out several darts and held them in front of her. The darts absorbed the fire attack and continued to burn. She flung the darts in Recca's direction.

"Not a very smart thing to do..."

Recca slammed both of his hands together, and dispated the darts making them fall to the ground.

"Lets get serious.."

Another strean of fire covered Recca's hand but this time it was more poweful. He shot a spiral of fire directly at Theonari burning a few trees in the process.

"In case you haven't noticed," she pulled out more darts, "My darts absorb fire so that will be useless." She threw the darts hard enough so they would fly behind him. The darts turned around and were aimed for his back, "these darts follow my opponent." She then pulled out her flail and tossed it in his direction aiming for his legs and tried to trap him by wrapping them around him.

Recca allowed a few of the darts to hit his back, but he ignored the pain, and made his move. He then sunk into the shadows away from the flail and back into the open.

"Clever girl.... However fire isn't completely useless against weapons that absorb it, depends on how hot it is. And the more I fight the hotter my fire gets.."

Recca drew his dual inferno katana's, one with the symbol of a wolf on it, the other with the symbol of a bird. Recca took a position to stand his ground, but seemed a bit hesitant.

He then struck Theonari on the side of her torso with the wolf katana.

She quickly pulled her sword up out of its sheath to block one Katana, she guessed he would probably use both so she quickly retaliated with by pulling out more darts and attempted to jam them into his leg.

"True, but these can retain quite a bit of fire. They just keep holding them. The thing is they start hurting me after a while if I hold them to long." She laughed, "however, I'm not weak and pain isn't something that I pay attention to."

Recca once again ignored the pain, and was a bit fed up with her games. He resheathed his right katana and allowed the other one to emit fire.

"I didn't want to do this...."

He shot a stream of fire into the air, and opened a firey hole in the sky. A large fire bird flew down from the sky directly at Theonari.

"Burning land attack!!!"

Recca retreateds to a distance to watch her get roasted, "lets see your darts absorb this."

She grinned, "cute."

She quickly fired several darts in the direction of the flames. They managed to absorb just enough so that she was able to escape its path. She did, however, discover multiple, but very minor, burns. "My oh my, you actually managed to singe me. I must admit though your attack did surprise me a little."

She ran strait for him and fired multiple arrows at her opponent, one aimed directly for his shoulder the rest were just diversions. When she came up close enough she slashed at his right leg with her sword then slipped a burning dagger from her sleeve and once again attacked his back. (((if I keep attacking his already injured point eventually he will crack. Lets just hope he's human)))

Note: (((...)))is her thinking in her mind...just so you know.

Recca fell onto one knee he was slightly hurt but not injured. He then drew a hex from his pocket, and healed his wounds somewhat so that he could counntuie.

"It's time to give fire a new meaning....."

Recca drew his second katana with the symbol on it, preparing a more powerful attack. He drove the blade into the ground creating a gash that emmited fire. A firey were wolf emerged from the flames snarling at Theonari.

"Ifrit show her the power of fire."

The demon began spread flames everywhere, at this point the entire forest was on fire.
It struck Theonari with its firey claws tearing her clothes somewhat.

"Terrific," the attack hit her full on. She covered her more vulnerable spots with her arms and used a few darts to help direct most of the fire away. Then she remembered something, something she had seen another fighter do a long time ago. She looked for her flail. "oh shoot." it still lay on the ground just behind Recca. She knew she couldn't reach it so she used her sword. Spinning her sword quickly in a clockwise motion she managed to deflect the attack.

She tossed the sword to one hand and continued to spin it. She reached for her battle ax. She threw it behind Recca and hit a tree. The tree collapsed and started to fall where Recca was.

"Nice try..."

Recca sank into the shadows once more, and came out on the other side. Ifrit was still spreading fire. Recca slammed both of his ahnds together, gathering 68% of his power to use this time around.

"Flames of hell!!"

Ifrit began to summon fire directly from the ground engulfing him fully. The stream of fire in the shape of Ifrits headed right for Theonari this time much hotter than the last.

"I can't hold this off forever," she thought for a second, "Of course..." She summoned "hurricane". Water errupted from below her and engulfed the flames. "Its going to take more then that to defeat me." Her usual smirk returned to her face.

Recca was fed up with her games. "Ifrit return to the burning bowels of hell...."
Ifrit sank into the ground, near where Recca stood as he stood his ground once more.

"Time to heat things up..."

Recca shot another stream of fire at Theonari but this time it took a different form. The fire changed into 4 lines of flame. that then became 4 fire dragons that surrounded her.

"Sure water exshingishes fire.... But fire evaporates water!!!!!!"

The dragons turned whatever water left over into steam, and began to bind Theonari

"Oh my, he's getting a little nasty isn't he?" she said mockingly. "All right if that won't get you then..." the flames started to form around her body trapping her within them. "Well isn't this going to be fun. I thought it would be boring for a while."


"Hurrican and Tornado combined" A large mass of water swarmed around her once again and a strong gust of wind came with it creating a storm that drowned out the fire once again. "Come now I know you can do better."

Recca gritted his teeth somewhat.. "Damn I used 76% of my power for that last move.."

Recca summoned the four dragons again but this time he absorbed them itno his two katana's. He then held both is one hand, arched back a few, and struck releasing a crimson red shockwave.

"Dragon god decapitation strike!!!"

The attack headed striat for Theonari

She held her ground and didn't move. Just before the attack hit she once again summoned tornado but instead of using it to blow the fire away she used it as to spin her up into the air. She came down behind Recca and stabbed at one of his arms holding his katanas. "Please I don't wish to make you suffer anymore."

Recca ignored his wound, and stepped away from her. "Lets take this battel to the fourground."
The fire in his hand became blue, this was it's hottest point.

He gatherred 100% of his power, and struck again, this was his ultimate attack.

"Dragon head mi-ru stirke!!!"

The fire became a real live dragon that struck Theonari head on, and then spread fire to her entire body.

"Fine, if you really wan't it this way." (((This attack is powerful, if I fail in stopping it I will surely be defeated))) Thinking fast she pulled out the last of her darts, "hm, only ten left huh. That should be enough, I hope," she held them and let them absorb as much fire as they could and she called hurricane to also help the flames to die down. She then let her left arm take most of the remaining attack thus preventing harmful damage to her more important parts.

"If this is how you'd like it to end, so be it." She rolled and grabbed her flail from the ground and hurled it at his legs then she got up and fired several arrows, which had caught on fire from the fire attack, at Recca's other arm. "I will admit he is stronger than I thought. Hm, I maybe I have gotten myself in too deep, but there is no way I'm backing down now."

Recca sunk into the shadows away from the arrow, and back into the open. He was exhuasted, after that attack but had enough to try another.. "What do you say to a draw Theonari it seems we are both pretty bushed."

Recca resheated his katana's as a blue aura began to emmit from him putting the fires out.

"I agree." She let herself fall to the ground and leaned against a rock. "I must admit, never have I faught such a worthy opponent. I thank you for not dissapointing me." She whistled for her horse, who came quite willingly. She then took out some bandages from a pack and started to care for her burns. "I will not say this fight is over. I'd gladly presume it anyday. It seems we both should train more. I wish to fight you again," she winked, "I won't give up so easily next time."

Recca smiled something he hadn't done in a long time. "Your strong for a girl."

He threw Theonari a hex with a symbol on it. "Thats the dragon of water Esuai it may come in handy since you like water so much." Recca then sank into the shadows, back into the darkness he called home.

She watched him leave, "Hm, quite an inigma that one." She looked down at the object he had given her. "I'm sure this will be very helpful when we meet again." She stayed for a while then she too went on her way.

Recca came out on another side, "Thats was amusing, and now I know how to control blue fire. Now time to search for the Chunjoo." He walked off into the horizon.
