It's another MMORPG, but it looks awsome. It's not out yet though... you can buy the pre-order and download it so you can play the Beta tests before the game actually comes out (the next one is February 4!); and if you pre-order you get special items and stuff (their different depending on where you buy it).

Oh yah, there's gonna be expansion packs too. You don't need them to keep playing the game, but the let you use new races, and classes and things.

I've played all the beta's and..... Whne this games comes out Everquest will be put to shame

Well, poor guys like me can't afford to pay fees for an MMORPG.. it doesn't seem THAT worth it to me; but yah.. if Everquest is free to play, I've thought about getting that too.

Anyways, I dunno about that yet, but I'm getting Guild Wars and I'm exited! Woo!

Thats not so bad though since I still haven't been able to buy the pre-order yet (I was going to use my brother's since it comes with an extra game key to let someone else try it).

Elementalists (basically magic weilders)
Necromancers
Monks
and Mesmers (they look like some kind of performers or something. I'm not exactly sure what they can do, but I think their designed to take advantage of an opponents weakness somehow)

You can choose two: you pick your primary class first, then you can train a second. I'm a Ranger/ Elementalist lvl 7 (R/E7). What's cool is that I don't have to choose which class to lvl up. When you lvl up you get a number of ability points that you assign to whatever you want.

"/sigh" The beta event is now over... and instead of experience the little surprise the devs always give to Beta testers when it ends (it was hundreds of high lvl dragons appearing in the towns and killing everyone in december, for example), my game errored and I missed it. "/moan" Now I'm "/bored".

I got to play it. I loved it and want to play more...now. Two weeks till next beta test.

Of all things you had to post about...It's GUILD WARS. AHHHH. I hate my computer and it's inability to run that game T_T

Ascalon Lake looks so awesome.

That's one of the more peacful parts of Ascalon after it got nuked.. I'll get some better screenshot's of more areas and post em up on monday. My favorite areas are the Crystal Desert and Riverside Provence (where Krytan Lake was taken), btw.

Oh and I forgot to mention my guild. Silent Dawn Awakening, a close group of friends making our way through the Guild Wars world. We have about 20 members (16 actually active) and right now were training our PvP skills to start working on taking the guild ladder.

It's nice and all but I'd rather play RF online. We have that game here but it's not that appealing.

Ok, so even I would be wondering why I'm bumping this thread up again after I already ranted so much about it, but there's a Chapter 2 coming out sometime (supposedly) in the first quarter of next year. They've realised information on a new Assasin class (yah.. even some guild wars loyal fans like me are a little disapointed at the creativity) and I believe there's going to be other new classes with it, along with new weapons, armor, skills, areas, and character options. It'll cost a little extra money obviously, but I'm really looking forward to it.
