So I'm screwing around with GIMP today trying to fix my old thingy I made, and I kept ending up with this:


Dark. Again. I didn't want dark. I tried making it lighter, and it kept looking worse..so I'm like..WTF SHOULD I DO?!

Then out of nowhere, I just click on the bucket...





...and I change the background layer to white, turning it into this:


How's it look now? ^^

Ooh purdy and swirly. Lol it looks better than the dark one to me. You can see the lines better.

TOO BRIGHT!!! AHHHH!!! MUST SHIELD FROM OVERLY WHITE SIG!!! @_@

Personally, the dark one actually looks good compared to that white one...god...actually it looks like you made the dark one lighter anyway...its a good mix now imo...maybe its just the forums being dark and your white sig kinda stands out heaps, especially on my monitor cause dad insists on having the brightness up heaps!!! On second inspection though, it doesnt look too bad...maybe its just that I'm not used to white or something...o_O

So yeah I like this dark one better...keep it up! You're doing great...

I'll work on it some more...I think I'm finally getting the hang of it ^^

I like the brighter one better and it looks cool althought it hurts... *puts on sunglasses* If I wasn't the type of person who has nothing white on his computer at all, I'd love it I'm sure XD. Maybe just change the brightness... a little >_>.

Me likey the dark one meself. The lighter one looks better that way too.

Personally I like the darker one. In fact, I really love the origional. The last one is pretty good too though. The colors insight a certain mood.. it's emotional. Hehe sorry, I'm a bit of an abstract artist sometimes; but once again, I really love the origional.
