Sydney distracts Hassan and makes her escape with the nuclear bomb's core from the previous episode. She beats Anna Espinosa to a vault in Madrid where she gets a lock-box. Inside the box she finds a Rambaldi sketch, beginning the Rambaldi race.

Meanwhile, Will asks for traffic camera footage for the night of Danny’s killing near Danny’s apartment. In his investigation he finds that the cameras went out that night.

Vaughn is removed as Sydney’s handler b/c of emotions, but is restored when Sydney demands it. Also, Will plants a kiss on Sydney, who doesn’t kiss him back. Francie has boyfriend problems with Charlie.

At the end, Anna Espinosa engage in yet another competition, in which Anna has a key to a lockbox. SD-6 sends Sydney to meet with her in Berlin and they open the box together. When they open it, a sizzling sound comes from inside…
