Will Tippin is Sydney's best friend. He has been pining after Sydney for years, but his love was unrequited. Sydney, of course, was more interested in Vaughn. Will investigated Danny's murder, despite Syd's insistence that he stop. It ended up getting him tortured and almost killed. He was forced to "admit" he was a drug addict, and lost his job as a reporter. He currently is an analyst from the CIA. He is dating Freplica (poor thing), and is unknowingly giving away information.
