I have been pleased to see all the Rocky movies on TV over the past 4 weeks and the question hit me which of the 4 was the best. I have excluded Rocky 5 becuase it was gayest Rocky of all and deserves no mention!

My personal favourite Rocky film is Rocky 3, my reasons, Eye of the Tiger is the theme song and Mr T (Clubber Lang) is in the film and he fucks up Rocky good. I also like Rocky 4 , because the big Russian Ivan Drago kicks the shit out of Apollo Creed and kills him and then gets the shit beaten out of him by Rocky. The best part of the film is watching the difference in each of Rocky and Drago's training routines while Rocky is chopping wood and climbing moutains in siberia Drago is getting pumped with roids and is in hi-tech training.

Rocky 1 and 2 are good but dont match these 2 classics!

Although watching Drago belt :censored: out of Apollo was pretty cool as well.

i was just about to fall asleep last night when rocky IV came on, had to stay awake and watch it, its a classic............

yeah I agree III was the best, with Mr T and Eye of the Tiger. What more can I say.

Although I must admit this has been the first time I have seen the Rocky movies (that I can recall, I may have watched them when I was a fella can't remember) and won't see IV till 6:30 tonight, as I've got it on tape, so I suppose I can't really be qualified to say which is the best. But I liked III.

I agree. I owe Roger an apology after seeing I, II, and III over the past few weeks. I missed IV last night- but I've got to say that I really enjoyed II and III. Mr. T was awesome.

Rocky III would have to be the best, with Hulk Hogan/ Sweetlips (I think) and Mr.T as well, solid gold. I was chatting with Roger at the time and Roger kept giving me a count down til Mr.T said something cool... sorta ruined it abit but at the same time I didn't miss nething.

Here, here... Roger has converted us into a Mr.T fan club. I think if Mr.T was alive today, he'd be proud of Roger..... wait a minute, he ain't dead yet.

I don't know i really really liked number 2 and 4 they would have to be prob my favorites.

Always a fan of Rocky 3 as pure entertainment (and the Mr T factor)...thought #4 was typical American s**t...but for mine, the original was the best as it actually had a plot.

Also Stallone wrote the first one when he was a nobody to try and break into the industry, im not 100% sure but id guess that there were teams of writers on the next movies....
