Title: Feeder Players for 2006
chriswalkerbush - March 2, 2006 01:46 PM (GMT)
At the suggestion of Anthony McElroy I've posted this thread. Here you can post all of your feeder pick-up requests. This thread will allow people to inform others if a junior they're after is already elsewhere, as well as providing a place for public discussion of juniors (since they will need to be rated).
MackDadday - March 2, 2006 02:08 PM (GMT)
I thought maybe a seperate thread for each club, like contracts, but here goes for starters (so as not to get confusing.):
Club:Adelaide
Feeder:Sydney Roosters.
Players (to be more added)
-
Mitchell Pearce (son of Wayne, only 16 but already the same size as his father. getting wraps similar to benji marshall. chased by 9 clubs before roosters signed him. halfback.
-
Anton LaVin Possesses explosive speed has represented aussie under 21´s in league and rugby. centre
-
Josh Lewis (no, not the one at Hawthorn that was Adelaides rookie 3 seasons ago)has impressed the club with his outstanding long passing and kicking games. Has all the skills and recruitment officer Arthur Beetson believes “he’s a kid with an outstanding football brain”. also a goal kicker- kicked butt in st georges jf grand final last season. 5/8.tipped to possibly jump finch and soward into the first grade team with good form. another article also mentioned the former st´s jersy flegg captains expansive passing game, intelligent strategic kicking and obvious organisational skills¨¨at
http://www.leagueunlimited.com/article.asp?ID=10034John Doyle - Former Maroon rep cruelly cut down in his prime is back and rolling for the roosters. Will work hard this season to make the hooker jersey his own after starting in premier league. Has been selected to play first round at 5/8 in premier, but is also been rumoured at lock so quite the utility.
Setimata Sa - lock picked up from the junior kiwis at the start of last yer. playing lock so far this season in roosters premier squad.

Nah, he's not. The Josh Lewis you have is the randomly generated rookie I put into the sim a few seasons ago. He shares a name with a mate of mine from year six (most of the rookies draw their names from book characters or old friends of mine)
chriswalkerbush - March 2, 2006 11:59 PM (GMT)
This is by no means an exhaustive list, nor will I actually claim all of these. However, the names below are under consideration for a Crusade jersey.
Chris Bailey
Brendan Hunt
Matt Thurston
Stephen Gordon
Hayden Jeans
Tim Natusch
Akuila Uate

Darius Boyd -Full Back/Wing -17/07/1987 -Taken from RLW list of club rookies to watch, "An Australian School Boy in 2005,fullback Darius has already broken into the Broncos top squad in the trials. Like what? Ones that happen to coincidentally share names with a real player? When I named Josh Lewis it was after a mate from primary school. I can't predict that some nuffy from Sydney will share a name with him two years down the track.
L1verpOOl - March 4, 2006 07:39 PM (GMT)
 :censored: Alright then, forget I ever said anything about Bracek & we'll just go with the other 2. :stooge:
bumper_benny - March 5, 2006 12:38 AM (GMT)
Hahhaha.. nah chris.. the ones that a freakin useless unless you think they are a player with potential. There wouldnt be that many teams that would pick up a utilility 76 unless they thought it was someone else.

Glenn Hall – has had to work harder than anyone after struggling badly for fitness upon arrival in September. But the giant front rower has proved he’s up to the task in attaining a more slimline, powerful frame over the past two months. Is looking to resurrect his first grade career after injury and poor form cruelled his progress at Souths. Will keep the pressure on for a first grade spot all year if he keeps up his current work ethic.
Setimata Sa - lock picked up from the junior kiwiws at the start of last yer. currently checking the sim for this guy...

Central will take the following Parramatta juniors;
Kris Inu Matt Keating Kris Keating Kurt Sorensen Iwi Hauraki Tony Williams Trent Hodkinson |
After research Central make a couple of changes;
Kris Inu
19 year old centre product of the famous Westfields Sports High School. Samoan born, played for New Zealand A in 2005. Played and scored in 2005 Jersey Flag Grand Final. Maltese coach Joe Grima was quoted as saying “Kris Keating, Jarryd Hayne, Kris Inu and Nathan Tannous will make it to first grade. All four are exceptional athletes and have amazing skill and speed". Played and impressed in pre-season trials and is pushing for a first team call up. Goalkicker.
Matt Keating
20 year old Matt, older brother of Kris, also from Westfields SHS. Hooker. Regular in PL team this season so far. Has played in pre-season trials and impressed. One to watch out for.
Kris Keating
17 year old standoff, also from the Westfields School, included in Joe Grima’s quote and is looked upon as an exceptional talent and a real star of the future. Already in the Jersey Flegg team he is pressing for Premier League status and may be knocking on the door of the first grade by the end of the year. Played in pre-season trials. Kris is being fast-tracked through the grades by the Eels and spent the off-season training with the first team.
Iwi Hauraki
18 year old winger. Played for New Zealand Under 16s 2003 and scored a try. Toured Australia with the Junior Kiwis 2005 and played in the 46 - 8 thrashing of the Australian Schoolboys. Again scared a try. Playing Jersey Flegg at the moment but has impressed most people. Possesses great speed and strength. A star of the future.
Trent Hodkinson
Named in Parra’s SG Ball squad Trent is a star of the future. 18 year old scrum half and goalkicker. Is also a member of the Westfields SHS. Started off well in first two SG Ball games with 2 tries and 11 goals.
Josh Davis
18 year old centre. Toured Australia with the Junior Kiwis 2005 and played in the 46 - 8 thrashing of the Australian Schoolboys. Scored 2 tries. Also scored 3 tries against England Academy 2004. In the current Jersey Flegg squad. Massive wraps on this kid.
Duan Poaneki
18 year old prop. Also at Westfields Sports School. Toured Australia with the Junior Kiwis 2005 and very impressive in the 46 - 8 thrashing of the Australian Schoolboys. In the current Jersey Flegg squad.
