Title: State of the Union
chriswalkerbush - January 2, 2006 12:40 PM (GMT)
The recent disruptions in the ASRL schedule non-withstanding, the level of activity and involvement of late has been poor at best. Whilst I'm not referring to every ASRL coach, I think it's time that we took stock of where the ASRL is and decided where it's headed. As it is there are a number of sides uncoached and, due partially to inactivity, new coaches aren't arriving to fill the void as I'd like.
On top of that there's growing laziness and inconsistency in order submission from a large number of coaches, which both disrupts the game and gives the community a body blow in terms of involvement. To that end I've compiled a list stating the 'state' of affairs at each club. If you know somebody wanting to take part in an advanced, realistic game - feel free to let them know.

Clubs marked as 'uncoached' are just that, sides in need of a coach. If you are currently coaching and wish to switch clubs, feel free to contact me and arrangements will be made. Likewise, if you know somebody who would fit in to this community - feel free to send them to me.
Sides listed as unstable are on the verge of being classed as uncoached. The coaches attached to these sides need to contact me or I will rule them vacant and organise new coaches for them.

UPDATE
The status of Darwin and Perth has been changed to 'stable' following confirmation from their coaches. Conversely, Parramatta are now uncoached.

I've been talking to Ben a fair bit and he says he wants to coach, but he still fails to get his side in. I might have to give the Huss-meister a buzz.

Sorry guys - have been away with personal matters.
All is sorted so Carnavon will be back to make their charge towards the top four!
