Title: Trading for 2006

The board has settled a rule which will allow trading to come into effect in preperation for the next ASRL season.

While you all are keen to get started, we've left a few guide lines which need to be followed to ensure a smooth and easy contract period later this year.

A.) Trades come into effect next year
* This will mean that although you have traded players, you won't see them into your line up until next season.

B.) No one on a 1 year contract in 2005 can be traded
* This rule purely comes into play because they are currently listed for off contract for next season. Unless you can work out a prior arrangement where you extend one of your players contracts, you can not trade these guys.

C.) A $1 mill cap in total trades limit
* To avoid max exidos, you'll only be allowed to recieve $1 mil max worth of players.

D.) All traders must be able to accept the new players contracts
* If you are currently sitting on 50 years used in regards to contracts, you will be hard pressed to trade off a two year contract and recieve someone on a three year. You need to abid by the contract rules still, so double check on what you are currently sitting on.

If you combine the above with the below, wouldnt that mean that everyone will infact have plenty of years left to trade a 2year contract for a 3 or 4 year contract?
Just a thought, considering evry player on the roster will have one less year on their contracts by the time the trade comes into affect............
